:brexit: Brexit - Deal or no deal

How is this determined?
Bad maths?
You might want to look at the figures their natural resources bring in and the pathetically small percentage they receive.
Not saying it’s a solve all, but if they go for independence that percentage goes up to 100. That’s a fucking big difference.
It’ll also fuck the English up, England has no acceptable to burn hydrocarbons and that’s kind of an important part of any modern country.
So the easiest way to look at it is like this.
Take all the Brexit claims and transpose on to the Indy lot*, then add that rather important bit. A country that can feed it’s population(excellent produce) and it’s industry, transport and homes(lots of hydrocarbons for a population that size).
Their problem might be currency. Keep the pound, England fuck them over. Use their own, England through the corporation fuck them over. Join the Euro, that makes it near impossible to leave(if they were admitted in the first place).
Then there’s the nuclear issue, which is bigger than most realise.
And that’s all before you get to the shenanigans certain services (with the help of a very compliant media) would get up to.
I wish them the best whatever they choose.

* amusing when you think about it, given the different stance.

I must laugh that there is a certain two faced bollocks speak going here re the Scots… A while back it was mentioned by certain Brexitophiles that it was testament to the courage of conviction of the brave Northern Brexit voting yet poor folks who were so fully knowledgeable and principled that they were willing to vote for Brexit despite the impact that this would have directly on themselves… ‘no matter what, we want out even if it means longer queues at the food banks’ etc… I think I may have suggested this was a fucking dumbass attitude for which I was typically slagged… (how dare you suggest anyone voting Brexit is a dumb fuck…blah, blah… and more blah…)

… yet when the Scots suggest they might want to go it alone, they are ridiculed by the same Brexitophiles for being dumb as fuck because of the economic hardship this may bring upon themselves… sometimes the brassneck displayed on here puts the twats like Johnson to shame…

It’ll be Wales next. 33% want it now apparently. If only there was an adult in the room. Maybe there has been all along, but the media avoid and distort.

Corbyn has got himself in a right pickle.

I get the sense that McDonnell has been “talked to” by the same kingmakers that decided Blair would be an okay sort of chap to run things for them.

Then you’ve got Remainers in high shadow offices, ones pertinent to this view. Putting Keir Starmer in charge of your Brexit policy is like inviting Jimmy Savile around to babysit.

He’s buffeted by Emily Thornberry, the personification of the sneering middle class Labour elite that want the votes of the working class, but not too much else to do with them. Before her elevation into Corbyn’s shadow cabinets, she was most famous for getting caught spaffing off about some commoner having an England flag in their garden.

Then there’s Tom Watson, professional grass roots bleacher, doing everything he can to make Labour the pro-Remain party.

These people are not stupid. They know Corbyn will get bounced by the public if he bounces them on Brexit. As long as they get minority faction control back of a party that should put a fucking restraining order on them, they’re alright Jacques.

I’d be surprised if any of them had any actual convictions about the EU other than its ability to get Corbyn out of the way. No-one survives two general election defeats. They are taking him straight to his second.

If Boris can get shot of 21 MPs, then Corbyn should finally have the bottle to sack a couple of his most troublesome “Remain” high priests.

They’re little snide cunts, Thornberry the land lady is a right fucker, she should be nowhere near the party, she’s a left tory.

I am always reluctant to post vids along the lines of “x destroys y” and even more reluctant to post anything with Piers Morgan.

But the GMTV team kind of does.

I mainly stay out of all this.
But.
Mrs P_F works for a Labour Supply Co (no Pap not Jezza). Today they got 2 NEW contracts to supply labour for UK Municipalities. Obviously jobs no Brit would do and no, not gonna say what and yes, minimum wage.
But my point is.
How, less than 1.5 months before Brexit are Municipalities still signing contracts like these?

Note.
Brilliant news, she has to travel to the UK now to meet them. Means I get to the pub for the game Friday night woo hoo!

Don’t tell me none of you weren’t thinking it.

No need for the word if. We are talking about a halfwit that doesn’t even know his own name, but he can at least spout some Latin occasionally, so that’s ok.
Here’s the Latin for what Al Pfeffel’s handlers are planning (and have very successfully been playing for the last 3-4 years)

Bellum omnium contra omnes

Again, we need to go back to the only adult in the room, when you consider the very deliberately caused divisions.

They buried that after a couple of hours. Lot’s of pieces with selected quotes, but none linked to it, nor was it showing underneath the articles in “more”. Strange that, when you think about it.

As you say, the only adult in the room. The only leader attempting to address the FACT that the country is split down the middle and in real danger of fracturing in a potentially civil war like way. On the one hand we have Bunty Swinson with her ludicrous plan to just cancel the referendum as if it didn’t happen, a totally irresponsible position given the uproar which would inevitably arise from that, and on the other we have Johnson, Farage, Cummings and co who want a hard Brexit, just crash out with no deal with all that would entail. Extreme Remain v Extreme Leave. And they try and paint Corbyn as the extremist, and try and crucify him because he wants to try and find some sort of compromise! World gone mad!

Swinson’s only remit seems to be, stop Corbyn and if it destroys her own party, all the better. She’s already stopped a chance of compromise once and given the chance she’ll do it again(like a true blue exceptionalist).
You know the world’s gone mad when people use hand movements to compare someone to a Nazi whilst saying nothing about the people in their own country using Nazi techniques and policy to demonise people for the crime of being unemployed or worse still, disabled. They’re not important though. Signing a deal with trump that destroys even more lives and the last of our public services is(see the similarities with his dumb brainwashed idiot supporters).
It’s a special kind of madness that’s for sure(probably watching a lot of TV involved).

Seems to be working for the Lib Dems. Climbing in the polls.

Besides, Labour don’t need any help destroying themselves. They’ve got Keir, Tom, Emily and Hilary to do that.

They know that this isn’t a vote winner and won’t get a Labour government. They know no-one will trust Labour to get a sensible deal with their hands on the tiller.

They do not care. They’re even more intent on Get Corbyn than Swinson is.

What’s that saying about polls?
I reckon they’ll all but disappear in a GE. Swinson gobbing off won’t win any votes. Also if enough people point out the hypocrisy of who they’ve admitted to the party(not very liberal) they’ll hemorrhage votes and that’s before LB starts the the anti Semitic smears(as she has everywhere since at least uni, if not before).
They’re fucked and it’s all their own doing.

Sad isn’t it, that so many do the tories work for them. On Thornberrys embarrassing TV appearance. I think it was deliberately staged…

You sound like the fear mongers before the last GE. It’s just the latest attempt to smear the most smeared man in history. I wouldn’t let it bother you.
There are problems, but giving up does rather help the tories out, so probably a bad idea. Who’s offering better than Corbyn and remember for at least a short time the press will have to pretend to be impartial.

They are, but can be defeated and for the sake of the bulk of the country, need to be.
Pfeffel is destroying himself quicker than even i thought he would and can you imagine him having to debate, or even answer simple questions(any journalists that asks follow ups will always catch him out). Remember how scared and weak the manboy is(runs and hides quicker than May).

And how shit his lying excuses are. First thing he says “I don’t think it would have been fair to the PM of Luxembourg” .
Who does the coked up idiot think he’s fooling :joy:

Polls is shit, yo.

I hope the Lib Dems get mauled in the elections - and I do think Swinson is the girl to do it. She is the most annoying political leader out there, and that is a field with Nicola Sturgeon on the pitch.

Say what you like about Nicky. She is at least consistent with her topics and approach. You cannot say she lacks political conviction. She’s been banging on about the same two issues for years. Get our Sovereignty back from Peter. Then give it to Pierre.

Swinson is all over the place, was an eager voting member of the ConDem coalition, going for all those fruity austerity votes.

Seems like things may be moving, maybe Johnson isn’t as stupid as he acts :man_shrugging: or maybe he is and, as @Pap has suggested previously, he surrounds himself with the correct people.

As I have said before, love him or loathe him, things are happening on his watch. He has brought this to a head, by fair means or foul (tbd).

My problem is not leave or remain, it’s I don’t fucking know what we are getting.

Show me where the playing field is and tell me the rules of the game and We will work it out from there

But just get it (whatever it is) done

It’s the big con CB - no one knows and the reality is most brexiteers and remainders kind of want the same thing (but don’t tell anyone, Pike’)

We want a stable economy with opportunity for growth, minimal fuss over trade and movement of goods in a good reciprocal arrangement, we the right decisions made by our leaders/government to the benefit of the people, not just a few elite and mega corporations dictating policy, and we want to be able to trust in effective leadership. We want to be able to live and work freely and potentially abroad, yet we want our services to to be excellent and available without delays. We also want to feel secure in a world that is increasingly divided and most want a responsible attire and policy towards protecting our natural resources and environment…

The only difference between Brexiteers and Europhiles is what we believe gives us the best chance of achieving all that.

For me that is within the EU even with the compromises this brings, as opposed to being at the beck and call if US policy and the hideousness if cunts like Murdoch who have the power to get you elected.
