I remember reading somewhere that the EU would consider agreeing to extend A50 in the event of a change in the political landscape and this included a GE. so it may be that they would be happy for this, although obviously time limited.

Quite easy, May will ignore the ERG and hard Brexit supporters and get cross party support and consensus.
They couldn’t been seen to supporting in effect a political coup, of course they would behind closed doors.

Idiotic decision, and if they follow through with the consequences, the Parliamentary system as constituted will not survive.
If you worried about the far right after Brexit, be extra worried when we give them all the ammunition they need to say that democracy doesn’t work.

The reason we haven’t seen too many pro-Brexit supporters on rallies is because most of them assumed it would never be in jeopardy.
