Sheâs a complete numpty. Her plan to privatise Channel 4 doesnât really do anything she thinks it will.
She is proceeding from the assumptions that it is presently publicly funded and that by privatising it, sheâll enable smaller production companies to prosper, which is exactly how Chennel 4 has worked since launch. It doesnât make a single programme itself. Itâs a big commissioner.
