:gov: Boris Johnson is Still the Prime Minister

Dorries is spectacularly unaware of herself and most things tbh.

It would be the most British thing ever if a royal jubilee finished off a prime minister.

I bet that wasn’t how he envisaged that

It would have hurt the lying narcissist that’s for sure, he wants everyone to love him and hail him as a great man. It will certainly worry the powers that be in the Conservative Party, these weren’t loony lefties giving him the bum’s rush, they were fully paid up traditional middle England flag shaggers, who queue up overnight in the rain to get the best spec to wave their little flags, Tory voters to the marrow.

I thought he was a ruthless opportunist who was only in it for the money and doesn’t care what we think?

It doesn’t even cross his mind that anyone wouldn’t think he was a great man, he’s a sociopathic narcissist. As for money, I have no doubt that after two years, and countless billions of our money siphoned off to his friends and backers, the ones who put him where he is now, he will have been well taken care of. He will have already convinced himself that the people jeering him yesterday were really cheering him to the rafters. The lovely Nadine Dorries, who worships at his feet, probably mouth open wide, was telling us all exactly this today. The body language from the current Mrs Johnson over the last couple of days tells a different story though, confirming the rumours that she is soon to be the ex Mrs Johnson, apparently she moved out weeks ago. He’s a degenerate, immoral, dishonest lying crook, who in a serious country would never have got near the position he holds. But normally rational, outwardly sensible people bought into it and voted Tory, in the full knowledge of what he was, because they swallowed the lies about the alternative. Serve them right. For the good of the country he needs to be removed, and quickly.

I couldn’t find rumours about a pending split, but this made me chuckle

That’s not actually the case though, is it. If Parliament hadn’t decided in it’s infinite wisdom that it knew better than the country what the referendum result said the country wanted and that we should accept our collective rebuke stoically and start behaving ourselves, he’d never have got within shouting distance of the tory leadership and number 10. And as a side note, if Labour hadn’t seen fit to politically castrate their rather popular leader my guess is that the tories wouldn’t have been in power anyway after the election.

Here what we could have won but as usual shot ourselves in the foot.

Of course it’s the case. Not everything is about Brexit, despite what the true cultists believe. The bottom line is that it was no secret what Johnson is, it was all out there for anyone to see, anyone with an ounce of common sense and nous should have known that it was always going to end this way. But for their own, usually selfish reasons they voted for him anyway. He is what he is, what he’s always been, a pathological liar, an off the scale narcissist, totally without morals or basic common decency, a contempt for the laws that bind us all, what on earth did anyone expect a Johnson premiership to turn out like? Are you saying that people were justified in ignoring all of this because he “got Brexit done”? Which is just another of his lies of course, got done by Brexit more like. The Brexit he has delivered is an absolute shitshow, only the most deluded of Johnson cultists can possibly deny this.

Absolutely agree with your comments regarding the treatment of Corbyn, surely any sane person looking at the state of the country now couldn’t possibly, in all honesty think that things would have been worse if he had been in charge for the past couple of years. Starmer and his backers, Mandelson, Blair et al, who proudly boasted that they had ‘saved the country’ from a Corbyn government have a lot to answer for, there is a special place in hell reserved for them. Today we have Starmer proclaiming that his Labour party are now the patriotic party, whenever him or any of the shadow ministers are seen on TV they stand in front of a bigger Union Jack than the Torys, these are the voters they are going for and fuck their natural support and the communities the party was brought into being to represent. In many ways they are just as bad as the Tories in their dishonesty and naked self interest.

But the over riding priority is to get rid of Johnson and his corrupt cabal before they do anymore damage, they have dragged the reputation of this country into the gutter, next stop the sewer. Distrusted everywhere, our word counts for nothing, it is instructive to read some foreign news outlets to see just how this country is regarded now around the world, what started as amusement, rapidly descended into head shaking bemusement, now a mixture of horror and pity. Of course the true believers in the cult of “Boris” and co wear this as a badge of honour. We are truly the Millwall of the Western world, no-one likes us and we don’t care. Fucking shameful and it should be deeply embarrassing to any right minded, decent person.

Of course it was about brexit, that’s the only reason he became leader. It’s ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

Corbyn was a huge factor

I appreciate that a lot of posters think there was some grand establishment conspiracy but you are only considering your own view point

Corbyn was hard left - his policies were so far from what was palatable to conservative voters that Mickey Mouse could have stood against him and got their votes

I would also say a decent chunk of the floating voters were the same

Then you chuck Brexit into the mix, ironically the establishment did conspire to try and torpedo that, and you have a perfect storm

Boris is an opportunist - I don’t think he has a position on anything except what is best for Boris, which is why he is so fucking shit at delivering

He is all gong and no dinner

My fave was

“ Liz Truss

The kind of foreign minister you’d expect to find on Gumtree. A LibDem, then a Tory. Opposed Brexit, then wanted it. Said she’d resign over it, then that she’d do anything to deliver it. Eventually decided it was too complicated and hid.”

they have done it - vote of no confidence this evening

I think this is two weeks too early - I am not sure he will get pinged and then he will have immunity for a year. Better to wait for an absolute humping in the two by elections first - and make it a shoe in

The Machiavellian part of me wonders if his supporters know this and have engineered the vote for now
