Boris loves a moon shot. He certainly declares them often enough. But then if no one ever dreamt big nothing would ever happen

Now I am not saying this is a good idea or that Boris is the right man to deliver on it, but if it gets people thinking about it then maybe a better idea might pop up

It also seems a eminently better use of resources that cutting 20 minutes off the commute from Manchester to London

I know people on the Isle of Man. Canā€™t imagine them keen on having any more links with the mainland.

I donā€™t usually read the comments section on the Mail website but the hypocrisy of their readers is staggering. The Mail ran the Mirror story about the affair and the Gammons are all lining up to say it is no big deal and none of our business! The same people who get their knickers twisted if anyone claims a pound or two more than their entitlement of Universal Credit.

Not when itā€™s used as a supposedly culturally justified racial slur and itā€™s rather pathetic.

I remember Alan Brazil unwittingly, and without asking to, becoming the face of gammon as he featured in several social media memes. Alan fucking Brazil! Well, I suppose he looks the part!

The problem with gammon is that if you keep pointing it out and ignoring whatā€™s actually going on, a load of Tory pigs get in.
