🤪 2019 General Election Discussion :gov:

I’m going off information you yourself have provided. You have been a part of the professional middle class for some time and drop your kids off at an independent school, which I can’t imagine being replete with the working class.

You’ve also stated on this very thread that you don’t understand them or don’t know how to describe them.

Given all that, how often do you deal with the working class? I genuinely think you could be out of touch.

I appreciate that you did not like the result of the 2016 referendum. Me neither. I also get that you seriously did not get the result you wanted yesterday. You are not the only one. But seriously, you need to get over 2016. It is nearly 2020 after all. Take some time out, see some mates, watch some sport, listen to music. Whatever helps. Best of luck

Again you need to stop making such assumption, but then again I am passed caring about your rather narrow minded perspective… but one thing please at least do folks the courtesy of reading and understanding before you try and provide an off the cuff response because you just end up looking foolish, with in ability to understand nuance or context… I never said I dont under ā€˜them’ as in working class (I would add that individuals have their own reasons), I merely posed a question to NK in response to his opinion that:

As to why that might still be possible, and then offered a POV… so if you cant be even arsed keeping it within the context then don’t bother replying ā€˜mate’ as it just makes you look like a bit of patronising twat…

Where is the fun in that? Problem is Bucks, Getting over it is exactly what ā€˜they’ want us to do… :astonished: giphy

You don’t seem like you’re having much fun.

Us elite never do, only when we can piss you you working class

I thought it was an honest enough question. It’s interesting that you haven’t answered it, even more so since you’ve retreated into this facetious shell.

Well this bodes well for people trying to bridge the gap between people.

Just everyone stop going back and forth arguing. It is really tiring.

Or don’t read it? its not arguing, its expressing opinion and frustration on a day of discontent… as for ā€˜healing’, Boris can stick that up his bigoted arse

One thing struck me today (other than the Ayatollah), when you listen to the Corbanista labour MPs / momentum, they don’t seem to accept that is was not just Brexit that Was the problem and that the right way forward is to appoint another leader struck from the Corbyn/McDonnell/Abbot mould.

It is a fair point. Maybe I’m in the wrong place being here.

Apologies, I did not mean to be rude or take this out on you, but it’s sort of the purpose of these forums as an outlet for opinion whether happy flappy or outraged etc… and as always some know which buttons to push and enjoy doing so…

It’s hear hear you Tory voting Brexiteer twat.

But I agree with the sentiment.

I’m with @Intiniki on this but I agree that some form of spewing is, or can be cathartic.

Let’s just take the personal out of it - on all sides, please.

No worries, happy to leave you guys to it

Please read what I wrote again.

I didn’t mean to shut anything down, spew away if it’s cathartic, I just ask that nobody focuses on the personal.

I agree with you on this. but see your reply to CB, ironically!

I was hoping the irony dripping from my reply to CB was self-evident?

Surely?

I call him a name and inflame the debate and then agree that we shouldn’t be calling names.

Well I thought it was funny.

There’s still a chance if we can get Diane to do the recount.
