Keep trying. You decide to put vane principle that you felt gave you some sort of moral democratic superiority ahead of practical reality that will keep the poorest in the shit⦠you are the one who will have to live with that⦠even if you wonāt admit it, you only have yourself to blameā¦
As Iāve repeatedly said, a Tory majority is only possible because of public resentment over Brexit, amplified by a billion little personal interactions people have had with other people that think theyāve known better than the rest of the electorate, falsely accusing them of all sorts.
If Brexit had run to plan, the Tories would have nothing right now. Nothing.
Well done latter day Remainers. You gave them everything.
Thanks for that. It helps confirm what i thought, which now puts the bbc correspondent for the tory pary right in the middle of what must be election fraud.
Are the bbc covering it?
I do think you underestimate the Corbyn effect. On a single issue you would have Tories voting for other parties in their droves, however more Tory voters fear Corbyn far more than Brexit so will vote down the traditional lines
Personally, I couldnāt begin to fathom the impact of Labour turning its back on circa 8m Remain voters to align itself with a guaranteed Leave option.
Especially as the Lib Dems had done so well in the European elections.
My best guess would have been that if Labour had aligned with Leave and the Lib Dems had been the only Remain (mainstream) party on the ballot, and with Johnsonās cabal of cunts being so rabidly right-wing that theyāve ended the Brexit party as a credible vote winner, then those who felt Remain was important would have voted Lib Dem.
My guess sees Labour get squeezed by the Tories for the Leave vote and the Lib Dems for the Remain vote.
I guess your guess is better than my guess.
Damned if they do and damned if they donāt. For me.
I guess that if blame is important to you, then those that voted Leave might have to shoulder a little bit of it.
But correct more than any msm publication.
Do you want to be told what youād like to hear, or something closer to the truth?
As the headline suggests, there are massive shifts, but theyāre not being reported and they are away from the far right Johnson party.
That said, i do understand how he can get peopleās backs up(and diverts from his own point(iām a master at that)).
A small example of a good point ruined(?) at the start.
āFor every racist dullard voting for Johnsonās dog whistle racism, there is an urbane Tory in Wokingham or similar towns refusing to vote for him for the same reason. Yet our televisions and radios have for a month been crammed with literally hundreds of selected representatives of the former group and virtually nil of the latter groupā
Indeed, rock and hard place⦠Majority of Labour supporters were Remain⦠I would hazard a guess because they recognised the challenges of ensuring we get the country out of the shame of food banks was better served by a more stable economic outlook, coupled with perhaps a more socialist view on opportunity for migrants in and out⦠so 8mil remainders vs approx 3 mil leavers⦠vs supporting the ādemocraticā outcome of a referendum, most accept was influenced heavily by misinformation, lies and further by right wing ideology and in some cases bigotry and racismā¦
Seems to me, Corbynās policy is actually a fair and fine compromise to find a path that gives folks an opportunity to validate their choices following further insights, and have a democratic say inn any deal⦠how anyone can consider this both undemocratic or a reason for handing the GE to a cunt of a narcissist is beyond me⦠The problem is NOT labours policy, but the idiocy of around 4 mil of the electorate that hold all the power in our little democratic paradiseā¦
