EDIT: Conclusion. The Series X is more powerful, except if you want The Last Of Us 2. @Barry-Sanchez, youāre fucked mate.
That isnāt conclusive as we donāt know how the games will run, hold this post and come back to me in 2 years, my guess is itāll go like the last 4 and Sony will kick arse, if it doesnāt Iāll buy a XBox, no dramas.
Iāll stick with PlayStation, have done since the first one came outā¦
Itās not really mutually exclusive. Over the course of a console generation, they key choice is which one you buy first, and you donāt have to buy either right way.
Iāll buy one when that game comes along which wonāt be out on the PC for a year, and I canāt be arsed waiting for it.
That game will likely be the next GTA.
I agree itās not mutually exclusive, and Iāll always backup with a Nintendo, but I donāt play enough to justify two āproperā consoles.
I will be buying an Xbox One X (the current one) as the prices are about to be very decent. Plenty good enough spec for me
Well this is why itās going to take a long time for me to buy either. PC already has most of that stuff, and most of the time, the PC version does tend to land at around the same time.
This is why I think itāll be GTA6 that shifts consoles. Rockstar have a habit of not releasing the PC version for a year or more. People wonāt be prepared to wait a year or more.
Iām looking at the price point of the PS5 before I commit and the games that come out, not for me mind, for BTripz Jr.
I have my PC for the occasional games that I play but I think I may need to get a new GFX card, especially looking at the minimum requirements for Death Stranding (pre-ordered for PC)
No, not yet, when I get the time I will.
GTA6 isnāt/hasnāt been given any green light or go ahead, itāll happen but not for years. PC gaming is better but it comes at a huge costs of updates and speed, I did that route and quite simply canāt be arsed. Thereās some gems on pc and not on console for sure but not to many nowadays for my taste.
Iāve heard the story is shit.
My son is playing it at the moment, he says he likes it, he says it lacks the story of the original but the combat and size of the game more than makes up for it.
He is 13!!
PS5. Will wait though,
One of the upsides of being an adult is having cash and not having to wait till your birthday or christmas
Managed to snag a PS5 on Amazon - they didnāt hang about though!
My PSN name is mr_joejangles if anyone wants to add (I chose it when I was 13 so donāt judge me too harshly)
I have paid a penny to get the chance to pre-order if the price is right
Digital or disc drive? Canāt remember the last time I payed full whack for a game, and I donāt like the thought of the digital version killing off the second hand games market.
