TBF the PS5 upgrade is a couple of minutes and a screwdriver - not as easy but not exactly brain surgery
The expansion card looks like it is 1Tb only - the PS5 can take a 4tb card - if you want to cough up the tin
Not exactly easy either.
Pretty sure MS will be offering larger storage at some point. In the meantime, if I really needed 4TB Iād have to buy 4 ot those expansions and swap them. Donāt need 4TB yet.
So the PS5 prices look like
500gb Ā£120
1Tb Ā£200 - if you can find one
2tb Ā£400
4tb Ā£800 - 
Thatās commensurate with the price of the X-Box expansion cards, i.e. 1TB costs Ā£200
Its almost cheaper to buy a PS5 for every game

Get an XBox if you want cheaper.
Iām certainly getting a PS5 for the exclusives, but think Iāll wait until there is a āClassicsā range of PS5 games.
Just so Iām in the loop, how much space does a typical PS5 game take up?
I had Cod modern warfare and Cold War on it and I cannot download the upgrade for modern warfare

One of the nice features of the XBox series is Smart Delivery. Itāll download the version appropriate to your system, so if youāre just running an S, itāll only download stuff to suit a maximum 1440p resolution. The Series X version of the same thing is bigger because itās targeting 4K.
Sony could do with something similar - I expect that the majority of PS5 gamers are still running on HD panels - where all that extra data is effectively redundant and taking up space.
That is a good point - I am trying to create the circumstances where we need to upgrade the main telly so I can smuggle the current one upstairs

This is where competition is a good thing. Iāve no doubt that at some point in the future, Microsoft will come up with a haptic pad of some kind - because itās decent - and the USP of the PS5 as a piece of hardware.
The other good thing is that Sony appear to be listening to big complaints. There was a big story last year about all Playstation models from PS3 onward becoming bricks because of choices Sony made in their firmware. Basically, thereās a battery that maintains system time. Previously, if the battery died and you couldnāt get online, the PS4 in particular wonāt play anything - digital or disc.
Theyāve just addressed that, so theyāll probably address other concerns.
I have just got an Oculus quest 2 VR headset to play with. So far its fun and I dont feel seasick after the rollercoaster rides.
