Congrats to the girls. Poor first half but improved through the match. Will need to play much better to win the competition though. Cracking winning goal. Lots of dross with the odd bit of quality. Still, the Norwegians are still amatuers and the women’s game can only improve. Colombia had some really good players so good reult from the USA. But their girls start playing football at an early age so that must help the development of their team.
I watched the game, have to say I quite enjoyed it to be honest. What a hit for that last goal. Good work, ladies. Doing far better than the mens team have managed of late.

Yep great result. 
A bit nerve wracking towards the end but held out well…another late night on Friday. I’ll have to tell Nursie not to bother with my usual cup of hot chocolate…need to stay awake.
