👨‍🏫❓ Who will be our new manager/ saviour?

So with the Welsh mining village population growing by one this morning, who is next in line for the throne?

The bookies think it will be Jesse Marsch. :us:

Compared to Jones he is prime Sir Alex Ferguson in my opinion. Plays in a manner not dissimilar to Ralph and we have the players for it, so it’s not like the players will have to learn ‘Crazy Gang’ football like with Jones.

Maybe not the hero we’d all want but perhaps he’s the hero we need right now. (Dark Knight quote)

He’s also a Red Bull multi club bod so that’ll tick a box for Sport Republic I’m sure. Oh and he’s also available.

Discuss. Or not.

It’s almost as if he’d been asked to stick around. :eyes::eyes::grin:

I think this.
Step back from the Leeds results.
He had no striker (Bamford crocked then shit) but at least knew how to set a team up and has PL experience.
Some of those names mentioned would have been great in November (SR/Rasmus morons for not getting them) but now to have any glimmer of hope has to be someone with PL experience

According to the Southampton Australian Supporters:

  • Saints beat Chelsea next weekend
  • Chelsea sack Potter
  • Saints appoint Potter

Unlikely but hey ho

I like the sound of Gallardo but don’t think he’d be able to get our squad fit enough to play his style, Ralph never managed it!

Also per the Southampton Australian Supporters:

Next manager odds courtesy of Sky and the SAS

5/1 - Steven Gerrard
6/1 - Marcelo Gallardo
8/1 - Jesse Marsch
9/1 - Mauricio Pochettino
10/1 - Arne Slot
10/1 - Nuno Santo
10/1 - Rafa Benitez
10/1 - Sam Allardyce
12/1 - Scott Parker

60/1 - Nathan Jones (the ex-AFL player)
70/1 - Nathan Jones (the wrestler)
75/1 - Lawrie McMenemy
80/1 - Guilherme do Prado Raymundo
100/1 - James Ward-Prowse
200/1 - the 46yo inside the Sammy the Saint suit
300/1 - Harry Redknapp’s dog
350/1 - a random steward each week
500/1 - Sepp Blatter
666/1 - Nathan Jones (Nathan Jones)

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I’m not bothered by Prem experience. I want someone who the players will respect and buy in to. Someone who will get us playing positive football.

My favourites, Marcelino, Gallardo, Pochettino

……… I’ll stop dreaming now :man_facepalming:t2:

Current odds from Skybet

Jesse Marsch 1/4
Steven Gerrard 7/1
Mauricio Pochettino 10/1
Sam Allardyce 12/1
Marcelo Gallardo 14/1
Nuno Espirito Santo 16/1
Ivan Juric 20/1
Ruben Selles 20/1

what no Sol Campbell? I though he was supposed to be amazing

One of the upsides of Patrick Viera and Vicent Kompany doing well is that he can’t say his lack of employment is down to him being black anymore. Its just because you are shit, Sol.
