You’re looking into it too deeply, gavster.
It’s just that the person who owned them is so pigheaded they they believe the dodgy shelves they have put up must be level and therefore anything that contradicts that must be wrong.
Duh.
Either that or try saying it without a b on the front ‘eehive’ - as in a beehive with no bees.

British ship building isnt what it was.
I almost put this in the “Going Down, Going Down” thread
TBF 200 litres an hour (43 gallons) is about as much as a comfortable bath and for a ship undergoing a shake-down tour by no means unusual.
