What is the reason for not sacking Pellegrino?

That’s the thing with relegation, it’s so easy just to lie back and take it, dirty naughty relegation, you know you shouldn’t want it but it’s there on a plate for you, all filthy and sucking you deeper and deeper down…

On the subject of Premier League managers who turned things around, it’s only a few seasons since Nigel Pearson did just that for Leicester City. He did get sacked, mind, but only after the end of the season and for rather different reasons.

Not sure that I can see Pellegrino doing the same for us, though. If we played as we did against Tottenham every game we’d be fine, but more often we play as we did against Brighton.
