Iām sure that the staff at Covenant Presbyterian School were deeply sympathetic to someone questioning their gender identity. A school based on evangelical Christian principles is the ideal environment for their formative years.

The killer was 28. They will have left that school a good decade ago, long before the three children she killed were even born. You must have quite a perspective on evangelical Christianity to think anyone could mull over their schooldays for ten years, and conclude that itās okay to arm herself to the teeth and start mowing down the current attendees.

I didnāt say I was keen on them myself. In fact, there are plenty of organised religious groups I have a problem with.

Reports that more than 20 dead and 50 to 60 injured after a mass shooting at a bowling alley and a bar and grill in Maine. Police are looking for Robert Card, a firearms instructor with the army reserve who is described as being armed and dangerous. This is the 36th mass killing in the US so far this year.
