Sometimes, the local radio just surprises the hell out of me.

Just had a goosebump drive back from dropping Mrs P_F off at the church for a remembrancce mass

Sorry - Drum solos are boring.

If you love music stop and listen to Rick Beato’s interview of Tori Amos…it’s breath-taking on so many levels. The best interview of a musician I’ve ever heard…

Kushelrock is a German Compilation Album brand, currently up to #33

Eldest son has got unto Vinyl and has the 1st 4 in the series. Just non stop 80s Power Ballads/Soft Rock classics

And sound so much better on Vinyl

How can you tell? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Pardon?

The dound is richer, tge dynamic range is better, Digital compress the track, Vinyl does it fifferently. Eg on a drum set you can hear the individual timbre of Cymbals, Hi-Hat etc…

Eldest is doing much more than I thought in music.
Their stuff is post punk they have sold about 360 Vinyl Albums in Europe, took €300 in Paris on Merchandise

Lad met an old guy here started chatting and

Cologne Studios have a big history going back to Rory Gallagher days.

Recently lad played support for a band in town afterwards some lads came over chatted bought merch then talked shit deep into the night.

Serms the band Martin supported played support for Idles next day so now they’re best mates.

Their Vinyl should go on sale in the states doon

Really vool he id into the science and history. His lad at 4 is already very musical his ear is very developed and he remembers the nsmes of songs

Crazy

Fucking hell mate :person_facepalming::confounded::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

I’m with Phil here. For almost all the music I listen to, vinyl is a better sound. The only exception I’d make is electronic music, your Kraftwerks, Tangerine Dreams, Human Leagues, etc.

However, the sheer ease of use combined with a deadly streak of laziness makes digital my usual source of choice.

Most of my listening nowadays is channelled through a pair of hearing aids.
If you don’t need them at the moment, get ready for the experience, I’m betting most of you will need them. First signs are you will no longer pick up on bird song…especially Sky Lark’s high pitch. The top end of the range drops off on the graph, free fall but the hearing aids means you can hear them again.

Repro ain’t perfect but it’s better than not having them. Vinyl is wasted on them.

Currently selling my vinyl collection on Ebay as I no longer have turntable/amp/speakers. Most of it going for decent money.

I’ve kept all my favourites on Vinyl but still feel guilty about selling the rest.

Mine have been in the attic for 10+ years. It is time to sell them to someone who will play them while I can still get into the attic.

6 Music sessions: The Cure Live

Marvellous

Robert Smith is certainly carrying a few pounds, but at age 65 who can blame him.

Great set, well played. Think I only recognised one other face from back in the day though. Still it’s definitely worth a watch / listen
