From my friend’s new album

THe drummer is 11
I have socks older than that. :open_mouth:

Had a few Easter beers up the pub in the sunshine, back home watching Moorcheeba live from Rockpalast 2018 on the big TV via YouTube. Fucking superb, does it for me every time. Wonderful band, superb guitar work. I may have had a little spliff. Doesn’t make me a bad person though. Oh no!

Haters gonna hate but had this on in the background tonight.
Lousy handheld camera but sound quality is good enough to have brought memories

This is over a year old now. I watch it every few weeks
it so beautifully constructed to a fever pitch of calm

New album.

Quite liking Wet Leg and there album has just landed called ‘Wet Leg’. They reminded me a little bit of The Long Blondes.

They are from the Isle of Wight as well, so local band.

See posted above also by the Goatboy.

If you scroll back you’ll see we’ve been following them for quite a while.

But it is ‘What are you listening to etc‘ and it is what I am listening too. I like the way they got their name. Random emojis

:sweat_drops::leg:

I have not been on here for 14 months, so not scrolling through everything.

Been a Wilco fan for many years so the announcement of a new double album is a good day for me. This is the first teaser for the album release on 27th May. :lou_lol:

New one out on Friday
we can all relate to this one

We all know u2 are wankers now.

But The Joshua Tree doesn’t have one bad track on it, and several exceptional ones.

Listening to it again tonight and enjoying it more than I thought I would

30 years since I bought Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
this reminded me what a great album it is

That’s just what they tell people, they’re actually incontinent.

Went to a funeral of a work friend last Friday. She was a lovely young lady when I knew her but passed at the early age of 61. :frowning:

Things didn’t get off to a good start for me emotionally, when the opening tune played was “A Good Year For The Roses”
For me there’s always the temptation to shock when you run though the songs you’d choose for your funeral but they never really materialise in real life. I wish she’d chosen this, not to shock but because it’s a beautiful song.
Beautiful guitar from Marc Ribot
