đŸŽ” What are you listening to etc

The Undertones, Camden Electric Ballroom.

They were great, but I’m a bit disappointed they didn’t play Suspect Device or Alternative Ulster. :rage::rage:

They play the 1865 on October 6th, in case anyone wants to see them.

Poor attempt at getting a “Whosh”.

Wasn’t Alternative Ulster a Stiff Little Fingers song?

Went to see them there before C19.

Took some youngsters (aged 30-35) from work along. Massive Undertones fans now.

EB’s also had the world’s stickiest dance floor replaced.

Oh ye of little faith.

Yes, it was. :sunglasses::grin:

They wasted their money then, because it was like walking on treacle last night. We went upstairs in the end.

It was non sticky when I went fairly recently.

It’s ridiculous when your feet are glued to the floor.

It rather begs the question of what happens on that dance floor to make it sticky.

Perhaps they played Come On Eileen?

Legend has it that it was never the same after Sigue Sigue Spunknik played there.

The Ramones played Sheena is a spunk rocker there, I believe. And Johnny Hates Jizz were the support.

The Arctic Spunkeys knocked out a blinding version of ‘I’m A Jizzliever’ by
The Spunkees.

Jason Isbell in great form
singing, pickin’ and just talkin’

The first Midlake album in 9 years out yesterday and it’s glorious

The girls are at it again

Thanks for that Gav
watched it all and then listened to her latest album
and bought it. It’s quite a mix but a delight
surprised to hear the Bandoneon featured on this track
I’m a big fan of Argentine Bandoneon maestro Astor Piazzolla and this track ticks just about every box
