I was walking the dog this morning with my Walkman on shuffle. You know the game, name the track and album
well this came on and I must say it made me a little teary

Think the reason I learned guitar can be traced back to Tom Petty and perhaps Lou Reed.

Used to play air guitar tennis racquet to them.at a mates and thought I’d get more respect if I knew exactly where to put my fingers on the tennis racquet.

Don’t know this track but like the more vulnerable vocals.

Please no.

We didn’t need the original Dawes. Liked one of their albums for a bit. Developed an aversion to it about thirty listens in, so you can’t say I never tried.

When remastering “Steve McQueen” for the 2007 re-release Paddy recorded several of the tracks as acoustic solos.
This is a wonderful “new” version of “Desire As”


back to the early 90s


And proving he can still do it. :wink:
