ā€˜discoveredā€™ Nick Parker supporting, Ben Marwood at The Joiners a few years back.

Heā€™s a support musician from Glastonbury that releases his own stuff from time to time and I love him.

@Rallyboy, once of this parish, RIP is also partial as Nick plays with a couple of bands that the RaleighBoy ā€˜knowsā€™ ā€˜knowsā€™
as in personally knows like - Carter USM and Ferocious Dog.

Whenever I listen to Nick Parkerā€™s stuff Iā€™m struck by just how much talent goes under the radar in our country.

And for that reason Iā€™m going to spam this thread for a while.

That really was my thing. Saw them live in 1990. A lot of fun, but a band to be whipped up for special occasions.

Hearing Gangsters for the first time, on John Peel, was something of a revelation. The subsequent album remains one of my all time favourites.
