Great overlapping run by JWP who pulls it back to Obafemi, who’d halted his run to find space, near the penalty spot and he deftly chips it with the side of his boot just over the keeper. Very cool finish.

Looping ball that he should have claimed but managed to let Haller get nearer the ball and goal side of him.
The both jumped for the ball but Haller nicked the ball in the air which left McCarthy even further away from the goal and Haller slid and squeezed the ball in from a fine angle.
That was one of those times when I thought we’d concede, right from the moment Smallbone gave away that sloppy pass in midfield. All stemmed from that, but yeh, McCarthy definitely at fault.

If I was an opposition striker out of form I’d be pleading with the boss to play me if we were playing Southampton, Haller out of form, scores, Jared Bowen not scored since he was brought in January, scores…
