Don’t get me wrong. Their lack of atmosphere fucking helped us in that semi-final win at their place last year, but I never want to see it at St Marys.

Yeah, what is it with early leavers? i Iike getting my moneys worth so I’ll stay at a game until the lights are off and they’re locking up - unless there is post match beer. But leaving 5-10 mins before the end? Have they all got a bus to catch?

I understand now. I am pleased to learn that I will not be destroying Southampton FC. I will be in bed when my ipad wakes me at 6:50 am tomorrow and then I will get up (or stay in bed) and turn on the NBC sports app and watch the game live. I will probably sit in silence much of the time, but I will make the occassional noise, much to the discomfort of my cats. I might pause the game occassionally. So everything is good.
I hear you @redslo . At least you get to get up at a decent hour. Here in Adelaide, we (luckily atm) only have to stay awake until 11:30pm and thus get to bed at 1:30am. Having said that, I do also have an app where I can watch (in silence) in bed whilst grabbing my missus’ bits when we score/win. Therefore I’m hoping for a 4-0 win

I was going to explain that that would violate my terms of service. But a better point is that the app detects where you are and won’t work outside of the USA. Also, it is tied to my email account so I would have to allow everyone full access to that which seems unwise.
I do think it is a shame that I can watch every SFC game here but the life long fans in Southampton can’t. On the other hand, I understand the policies directed at making sure fans attend games and keeping lower league football somewhat healthy by having nothing on TV at 3pm Saturdays. (If that isn’t how it works please let me know.)
The NFL is set up to broadcast every teams’ games to their local TV market unless a home game is not sold old. I assume that the geographic density of England is such that a similar system will not work.
I hope you wear giant foamhands - wll add tohe atmosphere and may surprize the missus a bit as well.
