I’m uncertain but, in principle, didn’t he have another fiverweb incarnation?
Covered by the meth cooking.
I like H. Although he does talk shit at times.
Never watched Breaking Bad! Yes I had to Google the reference
Couple of words too many for me to agree with that.
The poster never afraid to show a bit of humility!!
All available things considered I feel that the takeover and the ‘business as usual’ message from Kat doesn’t really take us any further forward. What it does achieve is getting herself out of a business and industry that in all reality she probably doesn’t really care for beyond an emotional connection to her late father (admittedly this is an assumption on my part). All of which I can respect because she inherited the situation rather than choosing it, plus nobody can deny they have done wonders for this football club.
What is still peculiar is her retention of the 20% stake. I don’t really get that either unless as alluded to above, this is more about maintaining her fathers legacy and a connection (of sorts) to him and honouring his ‘dreams’. That or maybe she is just edging out quietly rather than dramatically all in one go.
What won’t sit right with some fans is the statement about needing fresh cash injection etc in order for us to compete. That would be fine were it not for the suggestion that Gao wants an immediate return on investment and that we need to sell before we buy. From August:
Obviously he has not come out directly and said as such but it has come from reasonably reputable news agencies.
So if it is business as usual and a like for like shift in ownership and approach, with no additional capital being pumped in to the club, then unfortunately Kat’s statement about the sale being necessary sounds rather disingenuous.
I’m not saying that this is why we are selling Van Twat Face, but January is undoubtedly a big month for us in the market. If we are sticking with the manager then he will need committed players ready to improve the starting eleven not the squad.
If our alleged pursuit of a forward on deadline day is accurate (Simon Peach suggested as much) then that suggests the club felt another attack minded player was needed. In our current situation with Austin injured for god knows how long, our midfield incapable of passing to Gabbiadini and Shane Long seemingly given up being a footballer then perhaps two are required.
Big month ahead.
His style of play Alaves was negative football. have a look if you don’t believe me.
Sell off, Bertrand not playing tomorrow. Next it’ll be Lemina.
In the light of this information, I can only offer you two pieces of advice:
-
If you don’t already have a Netflix subscription, take one out. It’s only £7.99 per month.
-
Watch Breaking Bad. Just fucking watch it.
That’ll do.
Bertrand pulled a hamstring 12 days ago (last seen mouthing “it’s gone” and clutching the back of his leg at Chelsea) but don’t let that get in the way of your musings.
And Puel’s teams were known for playing attractive, attacking football. Your point is…?
When? With what players?
Apart from the fact that Bertrand is clearly injured, what also makes you think we will sell Lemina when he has only been here a few months? If you are going to troll this place you really need to up your game.
Questions that apply equally to your point about Pellegrino’s Alaves team.
Brilliant
Right, 2 episodes in, liking what I see so far…
You have no chance to extracate yourself now…you’re in for the long haul…enjoy the ride.
I think what makes it so watchable is you can immediately identify with the dilemma and how he/you cope with each escalating challenge.
