It would appear that the Kurds are going to fight alongside the Syrian Army to repel those ‘Turkish led’ "moderate rebels’.

Russian forces attack Turkish troops. Who are in NATO…

What does NATO do then?

“Turkish led”

The SAA and Kurds will be fighting Turkish led moderate Syrian Rebels (who moderately rape, head chop and stone to death).
Nothing to see here.

Russia will no doubt ‘negotiate a ceasefire’ at some point.

If you frankly believe that (I sincerely hope you don’t) then you’re stupid beyond comprehension.

Stop with fucking twitter quotes, we can all do that lazy shit, quote factual stuff, things that may dare I say that may not agree with your agenda.

Warm water port.

It’s dementia isn’t it?
You forget everything that isn’t convenient for your narrative.
So Mr demanding put up or shut up.

Notice how Turkey is now dropped from the narrative?
What’s the thread title?

You were asked at the start of the thread.

Your ire would be better directed at nations that say things like

"Covert action should not be confused with missionary work.”

That’s nice Phil, but about as close to reality as if it had been written in Hollywood.
They make up an insignificant percentage of people even in the regions they claim and that shifts weekly with Rojava just being the latest fairy tale.
Here’s a better look at how they are viewed in the only places that matter.

How do you murder people “moderately”?
I’m confused

Nice to see nothing has changed over the weekend :joy:

The Kurds must be getting a bit sweaty. Not sure how kindly the SAA will take to fighting alongside those who have been previously an enemy. Personally I like Putin’s idea of enshrining Kurdish rights in the Syrian constitution. Seems a sensible way forward.

Trust will have to be hard won, but the offer has been there for some years. If they agree and for once stick to it, Iran and Iraq could eventually follow suit. Autonomy through three states would be a welcome outcome and help defend against Turkeys murderous intent.
At some point they need to understand what is achievable and at this point they’re lucky with what’s on the table.
