As for calling people sheep for jumping on the Anti Trump bandwagon, seriously? If history has taught us one thing surely it is that if the wrong people achieve great power, then bad things can happen. For someone who has such an issue with Islam to then say about Trump that he is okay because he likes us is beyond bizare. Our Barry has an issue with Isam apparently because of the intolerance, homophobia, misogony, lack of integration with the rest of the world etc. From the moment Trump stood for office he has demonstrated these traits and more, yet dear Bazza has no problem with that? Perhaps a touch of hypocracy there Barry? Or is it just the Muslims you dont like?

Although the whole election scenario in the US was fabulous entertainment for us non Americans, surely it is no longer funny. The man is a nutter, represents no one but himself, certainly doesn’t represent the Republican Party, he has swerved them. Just imagine someone like Trump, a meglomaniac, waking up and realising that he is the most powerful person in the world, at the stroke of a pen he can do whatever he likes, bypass democratic checks and balances by signing executive orders to sweep away long standing accepted norms. Scary. If this just affected Americans i really couldn’t give a fuck, but it doesn’t does it. he is a 70 year old man, backed by crazy far right wing racists and assorted looney tunes, filling all the influential government posts with like minded extreme nutters. Vote Trump, get Steve Bannon, now that is really a dumb deal. Sooner or later the powers that be in America are going to have to stop him, it just depends how far they will let him go before they step in. What a disgrace, and an embarrassment that our Prime Minister was desperate to be the first world leader to go and grovel at his feet, when the rest, quite rightly, decided to hold back after thinking better of it. His hard core supporters are egging him on, Bannon openly talking about war with China etc etc. Picking fights with long standing allies like Australia, tearing up agreements, treating world leaders with utter contempt. The man is a lunatic, no longer amusing. Probably, awful though it is to say it, he will experience his very own ‘Lee Harvey Oswald’ moment. After all, that is the American way.

Totally agree Nottarf… and he is just about smart enough to know how great it is to have all tehlampooning, piss take going on… makes everyone laugh at him, creating a suitable distraction whilst he can slowly manipultae his way to his own ends. The danger is that we are side tracked by the satire, and forget that he is a seriously dangerous man… it did not surprise me that May went there on her knees, mouth open. Have to add that Trump must be a godsend to the Govt. He’s deflecting all of the anger that by rights should be aimed at our own political “elite”.
If we spent more time protesting about what’s going on in our own backyard then May and her cronies would be seriously worried. It seems we’re just not that good at that sort of thing, preferring to condemn others from afar -even if it’s justified.
