My memory’s not strong, but I’m sure it was this unbelievable guy called Jeff who was making the loudest claim that women aren’t funny… 
Women can be and are funny, Melissa McCarthy isn’t, OK she may have the odd spot where she is but generally she is not.
Technically speaking, if you’re funny once (oh, and it goes viral), it means you’re funny. Not wanting to nitpick or anything
