@cobham-saint yeah a bit like that. It’s somewhat unusual to keep having rallies once you have won. Unless you like to adulation in person and like to whip up a bit more hatred for someone. Say like the press.
I read somewhere (who knows if it’s fake news) that he did no press conferences for the last 3 months of the campaign, just the rallies. Probably because he can just have total centre stag and no one will ask awkward questions he doesn’t want to or can’t answer.

I think what’s more worrying is that it wasn’t fake news as such, it was a report about crime has increased generally since refugees rather than a specific incident yet trump didn’t understand that. I don’t believe he set out to lie about this, I think he genuinely didn’t understand the news he saw. That’s more concerning for me. Also, once he had this in his head it would seem he didn’t speak to anyone about or check it out in any way, just to be sure he has got it right. So he’s an idiot and a proud one who won’t take advice it help.
I went and looked at the SWF trump thread yesterday. I don’t know why I was shocked, but I was. I cant see how he can be defended at all. I find it genuinely frightening that he’s in charge. I really don’t think we’re going to get through 4 years with just some gaffs and things people can laugh at. I think its much more serious than that.
Donald was correct about a terror attack in Sweden, just got his dates and the perpetrators wrong.
In January there was a bomb attack on an asylum centre in Gothenburg, seriously injuring one person. This terror attack was committed by three suspected neo nazis. My guess would be that they were white, probably of a Christian background.

The Trumpster seems to select the news that he quotes from certain favoured media outlets. I am sure that Presidents in the past have used their own intelegence agency briefings for this information. That is what they are there for afterall. He seems to focus on things that support his own world view and dismiss everything else. I agree with Fatso, not only is he a fruitcake, he is a very dangerous fruitcake.
But there IS a defence FOR him, and IF you look at it from THAT view point there is sense.
Ignore his numptiness for 2 minutes.
“The People” have been fed up with “The System” for 40+ Years. The Old School Network or Ivy League.
Fed up of the Big Tobacco, Big Oil, Fed up of Lobbyists and other "ists in “The Establishment” and of course “The Bankers”
So along comes Trump who promises to “destroy” those leaches break that viscous circle. “Let Politics be run by Politcos not Lobbyists”
He gets in and Kaboom he goes INSTANTLY to War with the establishment (FBI/Judiciary/Homeland Security)
And so “The Establishment” attacks him at every turn because he is attacking them. The MORE attacks on Trump the MORE he is hurting the Establishment.
It is SO easy to see that argument. You don’t need to be a Pap Level Conspiracy Theorist to know “This was bound to happen”
Trump is leading the fightback by the people against that 2% who own the planet. Brexit was the same reaction an groundswell.
Now. An Educated and Travelled person. Someone who has read more that the Daily Mail or the National Enquirer may see that Trump is a fool. But the problem is as we will see Sunday - 32,000 Saints fans at Wembley. A good half of them will, to us, seem to be idiots - half and half scarves, Foam Hands, even 50 or so will be looking for trouble.
