Ah the common orange shitchatter, nice.
The North American orange crested loon
I always thought it was called the Tangerine Tit, most famous for it’s intolerance to migratory patterns of any type.
Maybe a simple ‘North American Orange Cunt’ would work?
How did we miss this…

Oh this is has to be a classic
Surprisingly for the ‘mericans, a good laugh and a good outcome… comments as usual are often the best part
‘Freedom seeds’ ? Seriously? What fucking distorted idea is that…
Well.
That’s awkward Donny.
You said it was a done deal
Ukraine will get fucked - Don will make them move to meeet Russia demands
At last - a Brexit dividend - the orange arsehole has discounted our tariff to half that of the EU.
£6bn a year saved - £120m a week we can spend on the NHS- get it on the side of the bus
The historic occasion where for the first time 70 million Americans, applaud an all round Tax Increase. Wow! Will you tell them or shall I?
Trump has announced tariffs of 10% on goods from Heard Island and McDonald Islands which are among the remotest places on earth. They are completely uninhabited apart from penguins. Stark raving bonkers.
Arnt Penguins about 2gbp a bar now ? He may have a point.
Had a read on how they have worked these tariffs out
Firstly they are not reciprocal - this is about trade deficit reduction. The higher the trade deficit as a proportion of imports from that country, the higher the tariff. They have no bearing on what tariffs are actually in place on US exports in that country
Which brings us to the UK. Our trade is broadly balanced with the US therefore the 10% tariffs on our goods is just a punishment tax if you follow the previous logic.
How should we respond?
An immediate 20% tariff on all social media derived advertising revenues.
A campaign to boycott all American goods
A 1,000,000% tariff on all products sold to Aberdeen and Turnbury golf course
Post a picture in the echo of cutting up my costco card like those two sfc fans
My take on trade deficit is simply people buying what they want/need at the right price vs. people not selling what others want/need at the right price. Perhaps the US should start manufacturing what the rest of the world wants/needs at a sensible price. Tariffs ain’t going to solve that.
The difficulty with the USA starting manufacturing stuff again is that the US workers would expect to be paid rather more than Cambodian or Bangladeshi peasants and want health insurance too.
The additional difficulty is that mostly manufacture products nobody else wants…. huge thirsty cars that dont meet anyones emission standards or are too big for roads (or fall apart) or produce meat using high quant of anti-biotics and hormones not legal in EU or wash chickens in Chlorine… no one else wants their shit
Question
I know the EU has a 6% import Duty.
Did UK keep that after Brexit?
VAT is then added of around 25%
GST in California is 7.25% anyone know what their Import duty was?
It is all very loud and insane but he may have a point about what others charge
