In same factory they were making fake CISCO, IBM Motherboards.

Corporate accused us of grey marketing kit back to Europe. We accused them of dumping in our region.
A partner got sent a return unit. Opened it all wrong inside.
We told Corporate we had fake kit they said as usual we hate you you are full of shit.
So we tracked back the serial number via ports & customs portal, found the warehouse in Jebel Ali.
Called our mafia mates and visited several containers of fake kit.
Tracked the resellers in UAE - and tracked the container back to source.
Called Corporate legal not EMEA Management they listened, called State Department who called Langley and Chinese.
Lawyer flew over, called me from a drainage ditch in a wet suit.
On the Industrial state was our factory. An unknown building then Cisco.
Roller tracks linked the buildings.
Our kit had a high but bearable 5% failure rate at final test. Kit went straight next door.
It had a 5% failure rate at circuit board level and at inverter level
Ditto Cisco routers.
All tun by Chinese mafia who had infested tge test areas and hit the data.
Estimated >$200m of our kit and around $1bn of Cisco came out.
So yeah we did.
