Yep, but as we see countless times, the truth does not matter. Trump’s approach is simply to say what he thinks will mean something to the thick cunts who support him, who never hear any of the truth as all their news comes from Fox or Trump’s own Truth Channel… He is now even making stuff that is impossible, like saying yesterday re the tariff that they are doing a ‘great job’ and its ‘never been better for the industry’ … before his tariffs have actually kicked in… Is he now time travelling, but there are so many of these inconsistencies that they go unchallenged, and so become part of the ‘truth’ as approved by Trump voters
He is also picking on industries that probably have little to do with his or his cronies main portfolios but have high potential to motivate the MAGA fuckwits… for him its win win, and by the time its clear that these industries will be fucked despite billions to be wasted on subsidies that were unnecessary, he will be blaming someone else for their decline. My US lawyer was grizzling like crazy about Trump yesterday. He’s not at all liked by big swathes of Americans - although my lawyer is based in Illinois which is a democrat state.
The one thing that might stop the dick head is if he loses one of the houses of congress = mid terms net year or where there is a relection due to retirement / promotion / death / a republican finally gets fed up etc - both are pretty tight majorities for the republicans
