It’s going to be very close, but Trump is preparing the ground to reject the result if he loses, as he did in 2020.
Republican-sponsored polls are showing him in the lead. Independent ones aren’t. This is to create (false) data suggesting he should win, so that he can claim fraud if results go against him.
Sone of his mega-rich mates have bet tens of millions on him to win to skew the betting market odds. Trump can also then say he was a clear favourite to win.
In fact he’s already stating that he’s won and if the result says otherwise, it’s cheating and fraud. Several lawsuits have been filed already.
The problem is so many of his supporters feel he can do no wrong… He could get caught with trousers round his ankles with his small cock penetrating a chicken and he would brush it off as a fowl play….
It’s looking as if it will be a close run thing. But I really do believe that anything other than a Trump win will result in total anarchy, he has already laid the ground for that, proclaiming himself the winner already, and if that doesn’t happen then it will be the result of cheating by the Democrats, it’s a no win situation for them, their voters and all decent Americans. I find it so depressing that countless millions of Americans, despite the increasing evidence of Trump’s madness and descent into fascism will still vote for him. It’s a cult. The humourist George Carlin had it right when talking about his fellow Americans.

On the subject of polls, I have a friend who is the LibDem leader on data and poll analysis. He’s studied the US polls and is certain they’re being manipulated in different ways by both sides.
The Republicans are inflating their support so that if they lose, they can say it was rigged as the result didn’t match the certain win predicted by their polls. It’s only the Republican-backed polls giving him a clear lead. Republican canvassing has also been done by paid, unaffiliated workers who are only too happy to give fictitious information.
But the Democrats are desperate to get the vote out and don’t want any complacency so they’re keen to show a close race.
There is also the factor that some women with fiercely Redneck husbands will not admit they they will cancel out their husband’s votes, especially if canvassed together.
Finally, there are two polls that are highly respected, match stringent UK methodology and have been accurate in the past when others haven’t. They are today’s poll in Iowa that surprisingly puts Harris in the lead when others there show her miles behind, and another that is actually predicting a big Harris overall win, mainly on the basis of the huge support she’s getting from women, blacks and Puerto Ricans. I agree that if that happens, there will be anarchy. God help America.
That’s the problem. His fanatical supporters have barely got a functioning brain cell between them and thought is an alien concept, let alone analysing the positions and policies of the candidates.
He speaks. No matter what utter garbage it is he speaks, they lap up the ridiculous narrative that Kamala is the Communist Anti-Christ, described with puerile insults. They believe anything he says, which is why he says anything with the expectation that it will be accepted, and as he is also very intellectually challenged, he believes himself.
We can only hope that the USA somehow has enough slightly intelligent voters to stop this nonsense (albeit starting a civil war). If they do, I’d bet most will be female.
Possibly, but I sincerely hope not and think there is momentum towards Kamala Harris.
But unless she wins by a landslide (and e en of she does) there will be all hell let loose to deny the result. Legal challenges, accusations of fixing, intimidation, bribery and violence.
