In all truth it is a pretty good bet that Trump would play golf on one of his own courses on a day when he is not scheduled to make a series of unconnected rambling statements at a rally.

But that would imply that the shooter would need to be in Trump’s vicinity each day to decide if he was going to go to the golf course Trump was at?
Or just wait until Trump is in the neighbourhood and rock up at one of his courses on the off chance - or maybe Trump could have decided to play at another course at random in the area…maybe
