Who is responsible for ensuring adequate security at the Capitol
Did that person request additional help and if not why not
If that person did request help, who did they ask
Why did that person not provide the help that was requested
Yes but you haven’t mentioned collusion in your questions.

Just watched several interviews with some of those on support of yesterday’s riot. Dear God. You have to fear for America’s future. You can see why a deranged man gets so much support when so many are also deranged.
They have no idea, the view of the rest of the world on Trump’s presidency. Their actions, serving a man largely considered a first class nut-job by the outside world, simply democracy in action. 
It’s like a reality TV show has come true… with all the hideousness of the grotesques characters that they come with… with their one audience who finds these things compelling built in

As DC is technically in Maryland, I guess it would fall to the governor of that state. However, I saw a report yesterday that the governor of Virginia sent their National Guard. Not sure how that works, I think the one lesson we can learn is that no one had a clue who was in charge yesterday!
