Currently bottom of the table, by the way
Neither of our last two centre back signings are deemed good enough or ready to play in this defence… one of them isn’t even good enough to make the bench.
Suffering over…predicted by several. 4 - 1
Oooooh this is going to be a long season isn’t it
So we started with last season’s defenders, and one striker on the pitch and one on the bench. Then subbed off the one on the pitch for an attacking midfielder who Ralph thought looked better as a striker in a preseason friendly.
Hmmm.
Well, my summation from 12,000kms away? 1 down, 9 to go #ralphwatch
Can’t disagree with that.
Adding to that, we were resonable for what, 35 mins? Conte and Spurs were way the better team. Like Charlie’s Angles compared to trailer trash level better. It was a free hit and we did lead, for like a couple of mins. Leeds innit?
Leeds and The Cherry Pie’s both had a bit of a good time today. As the popular saying amongst the kids down here is, “it is what it is”
In all fairness to the club, if Ralph hasn’t got the dressing room at this moment in time, are we mad not to pull the trigger?
Well, we didn’t let in any more after the 4th.
That’s gotta be progress, right?
Good to see our top scorer from last year is currently top scorer this season though.
Do we actually need any attacking players - they don’t seem to know what a goal is?
I’m going to type faster than Bazz and tell him “YOU ARE RIGHT”, as much as it pains me to say
That doesn’t mean were we’re fragile when we went behind and if you’re picking out 3/4 seasons over 30 years it sort of proves my point.
But Bazza, it’s not only our mentality that is fragile as a club, all supporters, including our own don’t think highly enough of the team. Some fans should be prouder (not all of our supporters fit into this statement), the club needs to draw a line in the sand and change our fucking transfer policy and not sprout this shite about us being a selling club.
Stuff the media, they are only trying to engineer talking points so the weak of mind view what they see/hear on the tell lie vision and then rinse and repeat ad nausium.
We gotta be the change hey. And you are right and have fundamentally been the whole time
We always start shite.
What’s disappointing is that Ralph still doesn’t seem to know his best 11 and his preferred formation after 159 gamed in charge.
Trying to keep ‘em guessing maybe?
He’s certainly got me puzzled. I think that extends to the players too.
To be honest I think Redmond offers more up front than Adam Armstrong, at least he runs at defenders and puts them under pressure, and scores the occasional goal. I’m afraid Armstrong just isn’t Prem standard as a striker, he was pretty much anonymous today, may as well have had Alexander Armstrong up there.
Ralph at the pre-match tactical session…
