Has anyone else noticed the increase in reports of missing dalmatian puppies in London?
Yes, I did that one a few weeks ago, but it’s always worth a revisit.

It’s like a car crash in an old dress - with matching accessories_._
Practically, she’s losing her authority in the Commons and she doesn’t have Cameron’s ability to think on the hop.
Oddly enough, a football chant springs to minds.
“Come on Reds.
You can beat this shit!”
(shit!)

Which is why some people have taken a shine to Corbyn. Never sought power. Always voted with his conscience, and even put those principles into action in real life. Abbott may have sent her kid to private school. Corbyn ended a marriage because his then wife was insistent that their son should go to private school.
I can’t say that he’s completely honest. Who knows? However, his record of doing what he says he’s going to do is pretty spot on, and that’s as much as you can ask for from a politician.
Missed that. You are such a funny legend.
Interesting to hear Mark Steel highlighting the fact that austerity measures are being imposed where there is little money to be saved - on the poor.
It often requires a comedian to point out the blatantly obvious when we meekly accept library closures and cuts to NHS/Police or services for the most vulnerable.
Without wanting to sound too far to the left of comrade Pap, there must be a better way to save money, especially when many of our current problems have been caused not by the poor, or immigrants, but by massive financial institutions recklessly playing poker with our money.
If you people haven’t watched Hypernormalisation (iPlayer) yet then you really should. Then read the Long Read from yesterday’s Guardian. Gives you an idea of what we (The People) are up against.
There must be, but it’s all about a correct balance. I agree at the moment that balance is not being met, and it is too geared towards punishing the poorest in society, but with the looming potential catastrophe that Brexit could be, penalising large multinational financial institutions could cost us far more.
Unfortunately the Brexit vote gives the Government an opportunity to only look at ‘in-house’ ways of saving money, and they’ll never penalise the rich (although still think the simple move of raising the higher tax band to 50% would help). Would also welcome a moderate rise in income tax at all other levels (1 or 2% may help - although again it’s a balance between that money being spent by the Government or in the economy, and which is more beneficial at the moment when we need to create a ‘strong’ economy).
that’s a great article
Sent a few letters to parents who have done this (not quite in a luxury b&b) quoting exactly what the NSPCC say in article.
“How can Mr Gove be instrumental in policy development for child protection and education and then make a fundamental mistake like this?”
I bet the lefties criticising him don’t say fuck all about the McCanns
Every bookie would take that bet. I reckon you’d lose your stake in two Twitter searches.
“£10bn extra NHS funding” line debunked
Very misleading and I hope they’re held to account for that. Same old shit.
Quite a lot of lefties I know have quite a bit to say about them. I think it’s also been covered quite extensively in another thread.
The thing is Super Michael, even if May was telling the unvarnished truth about the amount of money that had been put into the NHS, how much of that would have been spent on needless reorganisation and/or laying more groundwork for privatisation?
I genuinely wouldn’t know how much of that money is being spent on patient care.
Steven Philips QC. Undemocratic process from the government. Bit of a worry that a tory QC quits stating that.
This one got my attention more though.
330,000 children will be affected. A truly Dickensian Christmas tale for over 100,000 extra families this year.
Still should free up some more money so the rich can have another tax break.
This will be about the 300th time I’ve asked this question, and I’ve never got a proper answer for it…and obviously the article just voices an opinion - there are no facts there.
How much is Social Housing rent in London, and the rest of the country? £23,000 a year, with social rents, should be enough to live on.
Here is my lifetime Prime Ministers, I have ranked them Best To Worst. Can everyone do the same pls? I need it for Reasons.

I forgot the Thatcher woman. I don’t remember much about her really. I will slot her in beneath John Major I think. She can take the Edwina Curry slot.
