:tories: Tories in trouble?

Nah I have noticed the same. It seems a lot of them are annoyed that the indepedent shared all their names in one place. Not that parliamentary votes are public record or anything like that.

Any way, what next?

I don’t generally like to post pictures with quotes, as they are often fake, but I checked the veractiy of this one. Transcript from the Beeb itself was sufficient for me.

It seems unlikely but that looks a little bit like he lied to win votes and never intended to deliver on the promises…

More fool the voters who were taken in by it.

Zac Goldsmith expertly playing to minority groups. Arf!

Another nose in the trough. Andrew Lansley, former secretary of state for health, now gainfully employed by company looking to get £5.8Bn of health contracts.

Just read this. Unbelievable. I wonder if there are similar letters going to the Chelsea and Kensington millionaires. Who probably have a shit load more than those who got this leaflet.

gr8 leaflet I’m completely convinced! Look at them labour bros! All greyed out and sinister looking! You can hardly even tell that the Khan bloke is brown. That should deffo fool the ethnic voters, they will prob vote conservative now, especially when they find out that Zac Goldsmith has actually been to India. Gr8 work.

This reads like an enormous joke, but then you realise it is a real account. I would have thought Paterson would have commented on how preposterous the whole thing is, but he hasn’t!

Top Tory’s heartless plan to put pensioners to work picking fruit

Owen Paterson put forward the idea as a way of cutting eastern European immigration and even said they should be paid less than the minimum wage

Love the giant facepalm at the top of the story

Tories have form for this sort of thing

Privatise, privatise, privatise. More public money going into academies pockets.

So actually money going to Tory backers pockets. Plus no adherence to a national curriculum. Plus no necessity to have qualified teachers. Plus no accountability to the people in the council areas they serve.

Lovely - not

Whenever they used to create a computer game which aimed to elevate one’s knowledge, it sat in a bracket called “edutainment”. Seems to me that we should create something similar for what our education system is becoming.

Edupayment, perhaps?

Coming soon :lou_facepalm_2:

Osborne has achieved almost nothing he said he would since 2010. McDonnell getting the boot in.

George Osborne will stand up to deliver his eighth Budget as Chancellor this week. Just three months ago the headlines were about the end of austerity, as Osborne boasted of steady, stable growth and a rosy outlook for the foreseeable future.

I warned him in vain at the time that there were potential headwinds in the global economy which the Chancellor would do well to heed. He has claimed in the past that he was fixing the roof when the sun was shining. The flooded communities of Northern England are tribute to his utter failure to do so: cutting back on flood defences to save money in the short term.

Despite, or because of, this approach the deficit remains some £70bn above his original target, while the Government’s debt has skyrocketed from 53.5 per cent to more than 80 per cent of GDP under his watch.

The brutal truth is that he has no one now to blame but himself. Osborne has been in the job six years. It’s time to take a bit of responsibility. If he has difficulties today, they are troubles of his own making.

The way pap constantly attacks tory bros makes them seem v.sympathetic. It humanises them, somehow. His attacks are so constant, and so mean, but they never seem to fire back at him. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever heard them mention him at all. They must be as patient as baby jesus to put up with it… unless, right, omg! Unless there’s something else going on! Maybe pap is secret Tory, and is trying to recruit ppl using clever reverse psychology techniques or something! I shouldn’t be at all surprised RIP

I’m not really attacking, Bearinho. Most of these posts are merely trouser-plus heartbeats.

Trouser plus because you get a link _and _a quote. I spoil you, I know.

hmm that is just what a Tory plant would say
