:tories: Tories in trouble?

Including the leader of the opposition, who quite brazenly invented ridiculous charges of antisemitism in order to oust his predecessor. And almost nobody seems to care about that, or even remember it.

All as bad as one another to be fair

Turnip carpaccio from your local deli will be a great British alternative, won’t it. I mean, it’s what we voted for, right?

Our esteemed Foreign Secretary Mr James Oxymoron making a complete tit of himself on the wireless this morning, trying to explain Rishi Sunak’s plan to halve inflation. Where on earth do they get these hopeless Ministers from?

None of this surprises me.
Mad Nad regularly MIA

I see the consultant surgeons are walking out - not sure how much sympathy they will elicit from the general public when they already average £126k pa and have their private practices on top as well as £1m + pension pots

Of course poor NHS pay is going to further drive them to private practice, which impacts on those most in need.

Private Medical Insurance isn’t the answer either as it will exclude anyone with pre-existing conditions or make it unaffordable if you go for Medical History Disregarded options.

Also not forgetting the fact that private cases are elective and it’s the NHS who are conveniently left to deal with the life or death emergency situations.

Forget petty politics and the Tory drive to dismantle the NHS. Some things are worth paying for imho. (& I deal with private corporate healthcare for a living).

Of course using the average means that perhaps a lot don’t and perhaps a lot earn even more. (& some don’t actually have private patients, as odd as that may seem)

I guess the Govt are banking on just dumping this shit show on to another party come the next election

I give you… today’s instalment. Please feel free to argue otherwise

Made me laugh - the dude on the left is 6’9” - the tallest MP

We already knew he was a nasty piece of work

This confirms it.

Just occasionally party politics raises it’s ugly head in my little town.

We have a Grade 2 listed pub, empty for 20 years and being allowed to decay by successive owners. Btw, the owner for the majority of the time was The Crown. Real minefield.

But Shropshire Council never tried to enforce maintenance orders so it’s now nearly falling down. Clear negligence.

But now, suddenly, with a LibDem MP that the Tories are desperate to remove, and local Tory councillors losing seats left right and centre, the Chair of Shropshire Council Regeneration Cabinet, who just happens to be the prospective Tory candidate for North Shropshire, has authorised the purchase by SC of the pub, and committed £800k for renovation.

Despite the fact the Council is virtually bankrupt.

The ultimate high profile vanity vote-buying tactic. This could be fun.
