As he is now a convicted criminal should he not resign or be sacked?

His driver also broke the law by allowing a passenger in a vehicle driven by him to travel without a fastened seatbelt. I’m guessing that would also have invalidated his insurance, so do him for that too.

Throw the book at both of them. If they aren’t in the stocks by the weekend, questions must be asked in the House. :rage::rage::smile:

Court Leet is only over the road from his mum’s old pharmacy.

:+1:

Well, it’s pretty clear that our mainstream media really don’t like the idea of an Indian in Downing Street. Calling for his public beheading for failing, briefly, to wear a seatbelt. 🤦🤦 FFS

Next thing you know, he’ll be vilified because his mum sold an out of date packet of paracetamol in 1983. And quite rightly too, the law’s the law.

Seriously, I fucking hate our bastard press. And the older I get, the more I fucking hate them. :rage::rage:

And politicians too.

They never change much. Have a watch of Stonehouse, if you haven’t already seen it. Excellent short series.

BBC News - Probe urged over claims BBC chair helped Johnson secure loan guarantee

Let’s be honest, is anybody really surprised by this open corruption anymore? This latest exposure of corruption involving Boris Johnson receiving eye watering amounts of money in extremely dodgy circumstances is now par for the course. Like it or not we now live in a Banana Republic,(without the bananas). Like Johnson receiving a million quid for three speeches after getting kicked out of No10. Does anyone with a functioning brain cell really believe that he received these huge payments for making a speech? I suppose Mad Nadine probably does, but anyone else believing it is either terminally naive or as corrupt as he is.He can barely string two words together, it’s all er, um, Peppa Pig, ruffling hair etc. These are corrupt payments for services rendered, no different to the millions Blair received from central bankers and the like for ā€˜consultancy work’ after he stepped down as PM. Corruption facilitated by the BBC and the vast majority of the media in this country.
Just look at the current story regarding the tax dodging by Mr Toad, Nadhim Zahawi, the bare faced lying that is taking place, all glossed over by the BBC etc. The small matter of nearly 5 million quid in tax avoidance which he had to pay back, including a penalty (fine) of one million, which kept him out of court and and would have probably resulted in a prison sentence for ordinary mortals. Never mind that he was threatening all and sundry last year that he would sue if anyone dared print the then allegations. Despite this Johnson even appointed him Chancellor amongst other roles in government. It’s a fucking disgrace, but people just shrug and carry on in this country, the overwhelming majority seem to enjoy the gaslighting, no balls whatsoever. Sadly we deserve everything that’s coming to us.

I’m not sure this Tories 80s revival is taking the direction its leaders wanted, rat-fans.

I don’t know anyone who uses that channel as a source of news.

Mind you Google reckons it has overtaken Sky for news but some daytime slots attract no viewers.

Should have been scrapped years ago. IMHO

A mate was a planner for one of the contractors on the project a few years back and was quite scathing about the senior bods having a disregard & understanding of costs and inevitable overspend.

This is my local MP & I’m sure there’s plenty on this site about how I have no time for him.

My only physical contact with him is his annual visit to Oxshott station to proclaim it is him who made the trains run on time and got extra carriages & avoiding anyone who asks questions that veer from the Tory Party Central official line…
