OK - let’s talk levelling up. The govt has decided that the ENO need to go to Madchester- grant of £12.6 m a year to be reduced to £17m over 3 years.

Listening to a guy from ENO on the radio last night it’s completely bonkers. No research as to whether it’s something anyone will actually want or even want to go and see them.

No discussion with employees about them all uprooting and going oop-north - or relocation assistance.

Hampshire, eh?

Blimey the Torygraph has changed it’s tune :flushed:

For some reason they employed an ex Guardian journalist

Fuck knows why. Balance?

🤷🏼😂

The Telegraph desperately needed a good proofreader. The obvious institution to raid was the Grauniad. :+1::+1:

That budget sucked

The gist of it is - if you work its crap, if you don’t its less crap

Nice work if you can get it

I guess Bunter is minted for the rest of his life despite being the worst prime minister in history (ignoring Truss’s 55 (?) days)

Reports that a senior Tory MP has bee reported to police about allegations of rape and sexual assaults. Identity is unknown

He was reported by a group of unknown Tory MPs via a third party

The dates of the alleged assaults are unknown as well as the locations

Not the strongest start to a case

There seems to be more than one

Am I the only one shocked that he’s accused of sexual assault but they’ve let him keep his whip? :rage::rage::rage::rage::rage::rage:

No, but it doesn’t surprise me.

Our useless so called Prime Minister excelled himself at PMQs today, when asked how his colleague Baroness Mone ended up with £30 million of taxpayers money in her bank account he replied, “Like everyone else I was absolutely shocked to read about the allegations”.
Wait until he finds out who was the Chancellor at the time who would have signed off the cheque for £200 million to her ‘company’ for PPE, most of which was unfit for purpose, he will be fucking furious!
These Tory bastards couldn’t lie straight in bed, their default position every time when confronted with evidence of their corrupt criminality is to tell a bare faced lie, then say they are setting up an inquiry, thus kicking the whole problem into the long grass. The Cosa Nostra have nothing on them!

Ooh, one of my pet peeves. People saying someone’s name repeatedly while they’re talking until they shut up.
