Ultimately it was the strength of her conviction that fucked her - way too stubborn to listen
What is it they say about a strength overplayed?
Just for clarity - I didnāt ālikeā the picture for the picture, more for the fact you found and posted it @scotty - true dedication
On the subject of whatsapp pictures, I note that weāve both chickened out of posting the one I sent you for an opinion.
Donāt know what youāre talking about
Itās okay, sheās found alternative employment
Sheās a fucking skate as well.
Rishi has his 100
I cant quite get my head around the fact that Boris has got 53 nominations- talk about not being able to read the room
If Boris wins this he could be deposed next month by the standards committee
Itās like appointing someone as CFO whilst he awaiting trial for fraud
I will make this promise - if Boris wins, I will vote Labour for the first time in life just to finish the cunt once and for all
Given that Starmer is more tory than the tories, that shouldnāt be too much of a wrench for you
You mean he is electable as opposed to JC who was not
Corbyn came pretty damn close. It was only a combination of media demonisation, party backstabbing and his failure to stand (or be allowed to stand) on a manifesto pledge to comply with the brexit decision without a further referendum that kept him out. Given what was stacked against him, itās amazing how close he actually came.
An 80 seat majority to an absolute fucking berk suggests otherwise
Those on the far left canonised him
Those on left liked him
Those on the centre left held their nose
The floating centre disliked him
Anyone right of that loathed him
He had no chance.
BJ is now claiming 100, but only about 55 names.
Sounds like a standard Johnson move: lies and bluff to try to win Mordaunt supporters over to get home over the line.
In terms of votes cast,
Conservatives 13.94 million
Labour Party 10.29 million
Liberal Democrats 3.67 million
Yes, the result in terms of seats was a landslide. But that gap in actual votes would have looked very different had a/ Labour stood on Corbyns preferred position of accepting Brexit without a further referendum, and b/ Corbyn hadnāt been systematically and hyperbolically demonised by the mainstream press. Personally, looking at the figures he achieved in the face of those two massive obstacles, I think heād have won comfortably.
The Times has a nice little column on Saturdays called
Nature Notes, written by a naturalist who clearly has a good sense of humour. I particularly enjoyed this little snippet.
Nature Notes:
Lying Toad (Buffo buffoonus)
Native to the UK and winters in the Caribbean. A Crawler, but will run if itās in its best interest. Lays its spawn anywhere. Poisonous.
Fucking hell, he looks a mess.
corrected for you
So what? He always looks a fucking mess.
