Oh, he will - at least until he’s forced out somehow. Or shot. If the 1922 Committee goes ahead and changes its rules, he’ll lose the ensuing vote of confidence by a country mile; but he’ll then claim that the whole process is illegitimate (illegitimacy being one of the few subjects he’s an expert in), say that he was elected and that in number ten he will stay.
