:tories: Tories in trouble?

I’m tying to think who it could be but there are too many people who spring to mind…

They think the rules dont apply to them because they are in charge of making the rules.

CUNTS ALL OFF THEM.

Is this the same MP we’ve been discussing or yet another one?

Boris Johnson is changing the rules to let ministers avoid resigning if they break the ministerial code, allowing them to apologise or temporarily lose their pay instead

Have at this. What else is the fat cunt concealing

This is the Tory government for you. Further erosion of political standards. They get away with it time and time again with no proper response from the opposition or the public (maybe most people this everything is ok in the UK?)

Shame we don’t have a single viable option to replace them at present

He’s basically executive ordering his own slap-dash and slip-shod standards as the norm.

Fksake.

It really isn’t about slap-dash and slip-shod standards as the norm, it goes far deeper than that. People need to wake up. The current cabal know they have an eighty seat majority with two years until they need to fight an election. Laws are being brought in, unnoticed by the general public and pretty much ignored by the MSM, criminalizing the right of protest, gerrymandering boundary changes, photo ID required for voting under the guise of stopping fraud, (which is literally non-existent), which will only benefit the Tories to the tune of millions of votes. As long as they think Johnson can ride this so called ‘Partygate’ out, which he probably will, they will keep it going, everything else gets slipped under the radar, the ultimate dead cat. People should not be fooled by the whole Johnson schtick of the bumbling clown, the stupid hair style, the silly ‘Boris’ nonsense,(not even his real name, none of his friends or family use it, it’s his stage name), and it works. Just look at all the fools, “Boris this”, and “Boris that”, they all go along with it. How him and his inner circle must laugh. The truth is,as Eddie Mair told him to his face, that he is a thoroughly nasty piece of work. And the people he is fronting for are in a different league when it comes to nasty pieces of work.

I have no doubt at all that if Johnson is still Prime Minister in two years time it will be virtually impossible for anyone but the Tories to win an election, that is clearly what their aim is. Even if Johnson is removed, any of the so called front runners, Truss, Sunak, Gove, etc, who will be slotted in on the nod, all sing from the same ‘Britannia Unchained’ hymn sheet. There would be no point, none of them can lie as plausibly as Johnson, they will hang on to him for as long as they can get away with it, and for as long as 30% of the electorate will carry on denying the evidence of their own eyes and continue supporting him. There are so many stark similarities between the path this country is now on, and what was happening in 1930s Germany, it’s disingenuous to pretend otherwise. Far right wing authoritarianism doesn’t come marching in through the front door in jackboots, it sneaks in through the back door while people are being deliberately distracted, lied to and gaslit, as is happening now, a cursory knowledge of modern history shows that. If the events of the past couple of years have shown us anything at all it is surely obvious that the current regime in Downing St have no intention at all of giving up power by legitimate and conventional means. Which rather limits the options. This country is on a slippery slope.

Well, the system is a little bit more impressive than that. You’ll get a Tory government regardless of the party’s colour or name.

Look at what happened when a Labour man became leader of the Labour Party. The only thing left on that side of the house with any power are the cunts that ousted him.

One thing you’ve probably missed is the disappointment factor. I know what Tories are, know roughly what they’ll do in office and how they’ll get away with it. The really disappointing thing about the opposition is that they pretend to be something else whereas most Tories will happily admit they’re a bit of a cunt. I hate Labour as constituted more than the Tories.

Not voting for either of them.

A very good read. Worrying, but not unexpected. This government literally does what it wants these days.
