Simon Hart , the Welsh secretary, has said that the twat won’t resign even if he received multiple fines - not that surprising. However he then went on to say that he doesn’t see the difference between 1 or more fines - WTF

one fine, you could put down to a lapse of judgement or wrong place at the wrong time - multiple fines indicates complete contempt for that law. There is a huge difference

The whole Rwanda thing, unfortunately, will turn out to be a piece of political genius.

It’s not about money spent per refugee. It’s about money that will be saved over the long term.

I expect that the government will spend far more than it has to on a couple of well-publicised cases where people get sent to Rwanda.

Come to Britain
But fuck off to Rwanda

… is the message.

It’s a complete abrogation of our duties under the refugee convention. It’s the letter of the law rather than the spirit of the law.

And it will work.

Let’s just hope nothing kicks off here otherwise France might decide to send its refugees to Siberia. Barry wouldn’t be happy with that.

Different times maybe 🤷

This is one of the cruellest things I’ve ever seen. What the actual fuck. Rwanda. Jesus fucking christ.

Just this week a human rights report on Rwanda was pretty damning, the President is clearly a tyrant and a thoroughly nasty piece of work.
Executive summary:
Significant human rights issues including credible reports of: unlawful or arbitrary killings by the government; forced disappearance by the government; torture or cruel, inhumane, or degrading treatment or punishment by the government; harsh and life threatening prison conditions; arbitrary detention of political prisoners; politically motivated reprisals against individuals located outside the country, including killings and kidnapping; serious restrictions on free expression and the media including violence and arrests against journalists and censorship; and so on and so on. I’m sure Priti Patel saw all that as a recommendation! Yesterday she was asked if she was “really sure about this idea” in light of the deal struck between the Israelis and Rwanda a few years ago which saw “many of those people ending up in the hands of people traffickers, murdered, raped, tortured and enslaved” she replied," The answer is yes". Pure fucking evil.

What will they do with asylum seekers from Rwanda, more than a few of whom end up here? Send them back? Will white skinned asylum seekers be sent there, I doubt it? Not sure if the Daily Mailers would go along with that. At the moment in the comments section they are cheering Johnson and Patel to the rafters, this is red meat for them and all the red wallers, at last giving them something they wanted. Like it or not this is a vote winner just before the coming local elections, also doubling as a distraction from the Lying Oaf’s legal troubles. It’s red meat to them. No need for the National Front or EDL anymore, they’ve integrated into today’s Conservative Party and gone mainstream. Nigel Farage gave a cautious welcome to the news, but said it didn’t go far enough, and we need to get rid of Human Rights laws. Roundly cheered on by the more extreme Brexiters.

The truly disgusting part is that these people, many of them fleeing war zones, torture and the like have a price on them, upwards of a million pounds each. This is nothing less than a perverse sort of human trafficking by the UK government. Fucking vile and disgusting, not in my name. How much lower can this country sink.

Hmmm

Seems like the government thinks it can act with impunity. Hope they get hauled over the coals on this one and actually come up with a proper solution to the problem (unlikely tbh)
