Try reading the links P4apHumourlessDude, and then tell me how the conservative party in our country doesnât relate?
Mate, the internet is full of links. Even Google gives you a preview of what youâre about to read on a link, and so does every other news site on the Internet.
Itâs up to you if you want to post them unheralded. Itâs up to me if I visit them or not. Without context, Iâm far less likely to, especially when theyâre coming from a poster celebrated for the complete opposite of coherence.
I shall expect a reply in four months
Seriously? Ffs even I knew about this!
But we kept the bells going during the war so we should keep them ringing all through Brexit surely?
Tories now comparing Corbyn to Hitler. Maybe an attempt to deflect away from their own hideous use of nazi propaganda.
I personally like this line. Shows the man for the idiot he is.
"there is no escaping the fact characters who have drawn large crowds in the past have not necessarily been for the benefit of society as a whole.â
This really is desperate stuff, proof, if any more were needed, that Corbyn really has got them rattled. They are desperate for him to engage them in this character assassination crap, his refusal to oblige infuriates them. He just calmly ignores it, sticks to the points he wishes to make, sometimes, ever so politely, pointing out the differences between what they promised to do and what they are doing. He has got their number and more and more people are recognizing the fact.
In other news today, Police have announced that they are carrying out an investigation of âscale and significanceâ into allegations The Conservative Party broke the law during the election campaign with itâs use of a call centre in Wales. The investigation was confirmed in a letter from South Wales Police to Labour MP Wayne David. Donât expect to see anything about it on The BBC though.
This current government are âwrong unsâ, they couldnât lie straight in bed. Stick a fork in them, theyâre done.
Yes, thatâs it. There was a bit about it in the Independent yesterday as well, apparently there is another investigation going on as well into the partyâs wholesale breach of data protection laws. Of course a party spokesperson says they have done nothing wrong. If the past is anything to go by i really donât expect any action to be taken against them though,
Last year The Tories spent 40 million quid attempting to prevent sick and disabled people receiving the financial help they are entitled to. Freedom of information requests have exposed how taxpayers money has been spent on futile legal battles to try and prevent vulnerable people receiving help. The vast majority of appeals were lost by the government so totally unnecessary. Early indications now show the problem is getting worse in 2017 with a 77% rise in money being spent trying to stop people from getting Employment and Support Allowance payments. There never seems to be any shortage of money for this sort of thing, the âmagic money treeâ is always in full bloom, and the branches come in handy to beat the sick and disabled with.
Mentioned before in the wholly original and never-done-before âWhat could possibly go wrong?â thread.
The Tories are attempting to set up their own version of Momentum. Called Activate, wags on Twitter have been quick to rebrand it as ActiveHate You can tell few of them went to comprehensive schools - a basic piss-take test would have occurred there, and someone would have coined ActiveHate before it became a national term!
Second, it appears to be so accurate a replacement term that Guido Fawkes (Paul Squires) is releasing content about them, and it doesnât make them look good.
Many of us opposed to the utterly callous Tory treatment of disabled folks have been calling this what it is for quite some time now.
It is in no way to do with cost cutting, or encouraging people to work (arf!), it is ideologically driven malice.
The fucking cheek of them claiming to be the safe pair of hands with the economy.
I know there has been some coverage of this, but I canât help but think if this had been Momentum it would have gotten wall-to-wall coverage for about 6 months.
With their 12 inch teeth and inbred ears the size of pancakes
Dude is a genius.
Get yourself a cuppa and enjoy. One of the most comprehensive critiques Iâve yet seen of this crop of Tories.
Written by a former Tory, who resigned from the party on learning that May intends to stay on.
Itâs outrageous really that my party has got itself into such a state with years of weak opposition, popular support for non-socialist policies and, until Corbyn, an absence of effective alternative leadership. Itâs nothing less than disastrous and unless we change now we are doomed. The membership is old and dying. If we donât get a grip within five years we will be gone forever.
That rings true to me. I feel like there is an entire generation of young ppl coming through who seem to think that Tory is a synonym for Pure Evil. I wouldnât be surprised if OED have to change the definition, when they next review their Lexicon. That canât bode well srs!
Agree, apart from the highlighted bit. Have witnessed first hand, would be my choice.
Who hasnât seen the rise in homelessness, or doesnât know someone thatâs been failed when they need medical/mental health care. In fact look at the state of any of our services. All while they gave tax break after tax break to the rich.
All in it together? No one should forget that lie.
His resignation letter is spectacular
Dear Chris,
After the disastrous handling of the EU referendum result, the ludicrous decision to appoint one of the most incompetent and out-of-touch ministers as prime minister and her farcical election performance, I have been wrestling for some time as to whether to renew my membership. The Conservative Party is now far divorced from its fundamental principles of liberty and small government and Mrs May is an authoritarian bigot stuck in some 1950s delusion of what Britain is today.
Following her ridiculous announcement last night that she intends to stay on as leader I am now tendering my resignation forthwith. She has no mandate, no respect and in my view is held in utter contempt throughout the country. It is also self-evident that all other minsters are too weak, cowardly and neurotic about their own jobs to do anything to stop her.
Mrs May failed consistently over six years at the Home Office. She is a Remainer and should never have been permitted to lead the party or the country after the referendum result. Mrs May and all ministers failed entirely to plan for a leave vote and they have dithered, waffled, dodged and tripped up again and again, achieving absolutely nothing in the period since the result.
Brexit was a huge opportunity for the UK but the Conservative Party has wrecked it and damaged Britain irreparably in the process. If I had my way Mrs May would be led in chains out of Downing Street and placed in stocks in Parliament Square to endure the humiliation she so richly deserves.
I refer you to my article âHas There Ever Been A Worse UK Government Than This?â which has produced the biggest response to anything I have ever written about politics in more than 30 years of journalism. It well sums up the tragic and diminished state in which she leaves our country.

Just one thing. Shouldnt that be Brexit IS a huge opportunity for the UK? We havenât left yet.
