20mins gone now and how it’s 0-0 is beyond me. Boruc has made 4 good saves, ibrahimovich has missed two he should have scored with and even Bournemouth have had a great chance but Afobe fell over when one on one with the keeper.
1-0 Man Utd. Valencia takes a shot from the edge of the box which is pretty shit but Rojo sticks a foot out and redirects it into the goal. Astonishing that it’s taken 23mins to get the first goal. If both teams keep playing like this there has to be more goals (for man Utd)
It’s all got a bit nasty…mings stamps on ibrahimovichs head (I think by accident but commentators say on purpose) so Ibra elbows him in head later. And surman gets sent off.
Surman was booked earlier for a tackle (harsh)…in the follow-up after the Ibrahimovic elbow, Surman went over and shoved Ibrahimovic and he fell like a three year-old. Friend booked Surman for the push, not realising he’d already booked him. Only when the fourth official reminded Fried of the first booking did Friend produce the red card.
And Jason Tindall, the Bournemouth assistant manager, has been sent to the stands for questioning the referee’s parentage (just kidding about that last bit!!).

It is fair to say Bournemouth are not too happy with the officials, with assistant manager Jason Tindall particularly vexed.
He was not happy when Zalatan Ibrahimovic escaped a red card. He was furious when Andrew Surman got one.
First he had a rant at the linesman, then, after the half-time whistle blew, he marched onto the field, ushering Bournemouth’s players away from referee Kevin Friend, whilst also jabbing his finger towards the officials.
He made a few points. Whatever they were, they weren’t complimentary.
