Possibly so yes but that isn’t my point for abolishing the monarchy, my point for their staying is one of national totem and a pragmatic one of the money they bring in.

What do you want me to say about him. He’s a philosopher who’s work I haven’t read. Have you read any of his work?
You claim he is “the brains” of Putin and a fascist. Without offering any evidence of what you mean. Sure, there’s plenty of dodgy western media parroting the entirely independent views of Barry but if you want to discuss the relevance of Dugin to the war in Ukraine maybe set out your case as a starting point instead of expecting other people to do the legwork for you.

Here he is in his own words talking about how much he admires ISIS/ISIL:
During his attendance on a Ukrainian political talk show (most likely in previous years), Mr. Arestovich openly stated that he “admired and respected” the methods used by the infamous Islamic State, a global Islamic terrorist group, widely known for the absolutely horrific crimes, destruction and simply havoc they have brought on the peoples of Syria, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria and even the Philippines, in addition to numerous individual terrorist attacks all across the globe. This was what Mr. Arestovich said:
“The commanders of ISIL are considered some of the more wise and successful commanders that there are currently. Everything is thought through in detail, even the degree of cruelty. Cruelty for show – it is inhumane, but it is of a very high level, a wise strategy, taking their particular interests into account.”
In another talk show, Mr. Arestovich reiterated his admiration for the terrorists once again:
“They are acting very correctly, I even have a notebook where I analyze ISIL in great detail, the best practices of running their business, the way they govern. Those methods, the world needs them, even though this means terrorism, medieval levels of cruelty, burning people alive, shooting them or cutting off their heads, etc. This is absolutely the way of the future.”

You posted a video where what he is actually saying is entirely reasonable and not fascistic in the slightest. He touches on the topic of Eurasionism, and what he says about it in the clip at least sounds no worse than the shit you spout about totems and integration. I.e he wants there to be a Russian identity. There’s some cuts to the producers where they put their spin on what he must really mean but looking at his words only, this video proves nothing.
I asked you to make the case that he’s “the brains” of Putin, the interviewer in this video also seems to be very interested in making this case but Dugin is extremely reluctant to cooperate. The interviewer claims that Dugin said Russia should invade Ukraine and that Dugin said Russia should become friends with Iran and since that’s exactly what Putin did therefore Dugin must be Putin’s brains QED. This is clearly no proof whatsoever, correlation does not equal causation. Plenty of people predicted those things.
The spectator article has no substance and doesn’t directly address any of the questions I asked so I can only assume you’ve never read it.

If you think he’s relevant to the conversation, please post evidence that demonstrates that he’s s a fascist and that he exerts influence over Putin. Don’t send more articles you haven’t read. Put in some legwork and dig out some actual quotes not fake ones. Tell us about all his work you’ve read and précis your main findings.
