đŸ‡ș🇩 The War/Invasion in/of Ukraine

Here’s an idea.
Why doesn’t bazbot spend tomorrow researching how Germany & others continue to empower the invasion and rant at them instead of his keyboard for a change.
They are the people throwing Ukraine under a bus after all

How are the Germans throwing the Ukrainians under the bus?

:man_facepalming:
Thanks for showing everyone how little you know.

Bravo

Deflection from the point as usual

Done it

Given that one of the major pipelines runs through Poland, I am assuming that the rest of Europe is still being supplied by it - I might be diverting some of that gas

Fuck me, talk about playing the poster. Barry has agreed a number of times that Azov are Nazis. Give him a break and start engaging with his actual posts, and not the fact that he’s barry-in-a-cunning-disguise.

Yes, I forgot to praise him for wanting World War 3.

Why not offer up your own real contribution? Barry’s a big boy and I am sure he doesn’t need your “help”.

Where have I said I want a World War 3? I certainly don’t want that, Russia can’t be allowed to threaten the use of nuclear arms when they’re clearly in the wrong, as I said this would give North Korea and Pakistan who leverage. Think geo political.
Also western democracy when tested can’t fold to horrific but childish demands when it boils down to it, the middle ground between World War 3 and appeasement Pap is sanctioning and helping Ukraine fight for their nation, sovereignty and right to self determination.
Fuck me you’d be shit if the Russians invaded here wouldn’t, red carpet them all the way to the town hall so you can have that boiled egg and a bit of fifa

Check the posts yesterday.

The choice put to you is the same one Western leaders are facing.

  1. Throw Ukraine under the bus
  2. World War 3

You said you wouldn’t throw Ukraine under the bus.

TBF you gave him the binary choice and then effectively answered it for him

He hasn’t said he wants WW3, he has said he wouldn’t throw Ukraine under a bus. You then decided that he wanted the only other option you gave him.

I do sometimes wonder why you allowed him back on here - As you have said previously, several posters no longer engage with the forum as a result. I suspect you enjoy the “sport”.

It’s a reasonable question and one that everyone actually involved is pondering.

Or do you disagree with that last assertion?

I do disagree with this, there is a middle ground it’s just tricky to navigate and involves compromise on both sides, unfortunately something that just ain’t going to happen quickly, if at all!

We can’t throw Ukraine under the bus because that would then give Russia (and North Korea and China) carte blanche to do the same thing again with impunity.

I know the West aren’t any angels historically but that is a moot point. Can you tell me, since the 2nd World War, where the west have invaded and then stayed?

Its not a reasonable question because its simply not a choice between shafting Ukraine or having WW3

You’ve stepped in to say similar a number of times but never engage otherwise.

Not sure there is a middle ground Bob.

In the same way that mission creep set in on past “interventions”, mission creep is happening now.

The danger is at what point does it become too much.

A simple example was when Biden offered Polish Jets. There was an immediate pull back by Poland simply because any airbase they were due to leave from would then be a legitimate military target.

Now Poland are sending tanks. IF the Russians find them then they would have a legitimate reason to try and intercept them either by bombing or sabotage.

And that becomes an attack on NATO.

That mission creep is SO fucking dangerous.

The US comments this weekend “weaken Russia” are replied as “Proxy War”. The whole Putin has to lose means he will be pushed into a corner.

That is way too dangerous and also likely what will happen.

So maybe needs to pull himself out of his corner, have a word with himself and think what he is doing and what he is escalating.

It takes 2 to tango and NATO aren’t solely to blame for this one.

If Putin can’t pull himself out then maybe his “advisors” need to wake up and smell the coffee and start doing something about it?

We’re not at that yet Pap you’re jumping the gun, Ukraine aren’t under a bus at the moment (no thanks to you and other posters on here) and there isn’t a World War 3 so its a silly framing question, if such a polarising question sadly arises in the future, knowledge of the current situation will dictate.

Oh yeah, your dipshit binary choice. And Barry gets accused of only seeing in black and white.
