Interesting map on this BBC article. I’d like to know what ā€œUkrainian counter-attacksā€ means. Are these the only areas they’re still contesting?

Same map from 2 March.

Both groups in the east are digging in Pap, that is what that means,

2 hours of Scott Ritter speaking recently here.

Without commenting on any of the specifics of what he says, he’s just a really good interviewee. His interview here and the other long one he gave a couple of weeks ago to Grayzone are him talking almost non-stop about the war and the history of Ukraine and they absolutely fly by. If he’s getting paid by Russia then they are definitely getting their money’s worth from his performance, because to me at least he comes across as extremely passionate and knowledgeable, draws a ton of different threads together to form a narrative that holds together better than any of the shit I’ve seen from the MSM and just communicates it all extremely well.

@Not_Barry - I guess it’s over to you to conflate or negate.

The forum is yours:

Bandera this and fascist that, Jesus wept, this is the modern day, you bring a convicted child abuser in to argue your corner, come on man, this is pure wind, absolute pure wind. Its crap and tin foil bollocks.

Sorry to stop your response- I’m off to bed night

Edit- you jumped straight in. Good skills.

900 civilians dug up outside Kyiv.

Yeah I read that - it’s not good is it.

What’s the point you are trying to make?

Whoever comes out the victor of this fog of war will have to account for it - let’s hope it’s not Russia as it’ll be hidden.

Stop just dropping numbers without links into the dialogue - bit sad son/mush

Because me doing that is doing exactly what these crap websites do, they cloud, I don’t know if you watched any of it, I did and its the usual standard affair of not addressing points, creating statements before asking questions, comparing other events, its bluster and crap.
These people on the periphery of media society are on the edge of it for a reason, everything absolutely everything is whataboutery.

A bit like this thread then :man_shrugging:t3:

I’ve just tried putting this through Google translate.

The whole site crashed. Google coppers are chasing me now.

I’m sure I’ll be told off for being ā€œunpatrioticā€ or a ā€œ traitorā€ but a little part of me chuckled.

Interview with the author of that article spoken in English. It’s mainly just a recapitulation of what’s written in the article, although he additionally gives his view that current indications regarding Krematorsk and Bucha point to Ukrainian perpetration.

An interesting read - thanks for posting. Makes a change from current ā€œnewsā€sources and probably explains a lot about them.

This is the sad story of the ship that never sank.

Can’t get much analysis here which isn’t complete propaganda. In such times, India is quite handy.

Time to hunker down for the long haul.
Clearly the fools who thought it would take 5 days have all been retired and some brains are now using sensible military strategy to achieve an outcome for Vlad.
That may mean the ā€œsurgeā€ to take Donbas & Luhansk and create the corridor to Crimea, or it may be to grind down the resistance, achieve those aims THEN use it as a base to take the rest of the Nation.
There is a limit to how long the West has supplies of equipment to keep giving away before their own strategic reserves get drained.
Ramping up manufacturing of Military Electronics in ā€œpeacetimeā€ takes forever. Military Specification components were often on ong lead times BEFORE supply shortages.

And no bazbot that isn’t just complex silicon, it is passive components such as connectors, switches, relays, capacitors & resistors
