Looks like the Russians have fucked up here - apparently TASS ran a propaganda piece about the arrival of this ship and by doing so revealed its location to the Ukranian navy.
If I ran TASS I would be thinking twice about opening the front door to strange people

Iād be surprised if NATO give any tanks to Ukraine, Ukraine have argued that the Soviets gave the North Koreans air support in the Vietnam War so why canāt NATO give arms and support that way, canāt see it happening.
Itās part of the peace deal sell when the time comes

NATO canāt be seen to be doing anything because then that would give Putin the reasons he needs to start aggression deeper in Europe.
The only way NATO would be able to help would be if the UN asked them to, a la Syria (yes, yes I know)
We know that and Zelensky knows that - but at some point after promising the Ukrainians that they would be part of NATO and the EU, he has to tell them that it will never happen and they will have to be a neutral.
It will be a lot easier to do this if NATO are seen to have repeatedly failed to help out when asked.

Yes Iāve read any part of a peace deal will will revolve around a pact between certain NATO nations helping Ukraine in the event of any possible future invasion, that would probably mean permanent NATOās bases right on NATOās doorstep but not on Putinās.
Yes, it does become difficult when about ten different people decide to pile on Not_Barry for various different reasons.
