Is this the sort of fayre we can expect moving forward? Are you that keen on a fifteen year Sotonians gulag?

REMIX:

I’m left confused, baffled and yet also at the same time I quite like that form of council meeting.

Long thread

I’d find these videos more believable if the account didn’t suddenly start posting on 8th March despite joining Twitter in 2015. There’s not really any context as to who any of these people are, certainly not any evidence to suggest ā€œparamilitary groupsā€ or ā€œNational Guardā€ looks like local knuckledraggers taking advantage of the lack of law and order to settle some scores.

Don’t completely disagree, there’s some uniforms and people looking quite heavily armed, but it’s hard to say who really doing this. On the other hand there’s so many examples in what look like different places with different people carrying out the humiliating acts it doesn’t look to me like the work of a rogue group of local knuckle draggers. It looks to me like some sort of centrally coordinated campaign. It surely can’t be different knuckle draggers in different places all choosing to do essentially the same thing in the same way by chance.

Why do you post this?

Probably for the same reason you post the stuff you do. :man_shrugging:t3:

Stop and think about that.

What because I hate fascist systems and I don’t love them because my forefathers did?

No Barry, you’re missing the point or choosing a contrary position as per normal.

You only post what you believe in and deride anything that doesn’t l fit into Barry World or aims to add alternative information (right or wrong) to the discussion.

It’s incredibly tedious and annoying, but you know this.

Does it make you feel uncomfortable?

That just goes to the BBC live feed Barry, but wasn’t that something that was originally said by an Israeli prime minister back in the day.

I post it because it is wrong and it shouldn’t be happening yet for some reason I don’t see anything about this in the news. I only see what a hero Zelensky is.

I’ve seen quite a few posts here rightly highlighting good acts by the Polish government and people to support Ukrainian refugees but here’s a reminder about the views of the government elected by the polish people.

Given some of the rumours winging about of civilians being forcibly transported to far flung Russian cities, Ashok’s wishes may well be coming true

Yes we all know part of Ukraine’s fighting unit is fascist, that doesn’t weaken the right for the whole of Ukraine to repel Russian invasion as they have 2500 fascists fighting fascists invaders does it?
Only 1.6% of Ukrainians voted for a far right party in the last elections, from a population of 44 million I’d say that’s progressive, of course the Azov battalion needs to be investigated for their fascism but many Ukrainians find their politics revolting, the Azov battalion do not represent the whole of Ukrainian politics or army even.
