I suppose they couldn’t call it

ā€œIs Putin the biggest cunt that ever lived? Closeā€

You’re not, er, getting carried away with all this a bit, are you?

There have been a lot of cunts that lived in the world. And even when people say they aren’t cunts, such as in Vietnam, turns out they were actually cunts and they killed about 3.9 million people in that conflict alone.

Has he done that yet? Next big milestones are Wilhelm II, Adolf Hitler and Genghis Khan. I’d be amazed if he’d achieved more in fifteen days.

Really?

Can you show where the US killed 3.9 Million in the Vietnam War? And its strange Vietnam eventually pushed extreme left wing socialism and communism away and became an open market economy, I’d say that is actually what the US and west were fighting for in the first place.

Stalin is the name you’re missing on that list, 6-9 Million he is supposed to have killed deliberately.

Nah - just taking the piss

it just worked with the word ā€œCloseā€

Putin has got a long way to go to join that band of bastards, however he is showing promise. Unfortunately for him the going so far has been soft to heavy.

Holy shit

The Government has told Chelsea it cannot even sell tickets to matches and any takeover is now on hold as part of the order.

Wonder what’s happening with the existing finances. Will the club be able to access them? Are the staff even going to get paid?

So they can’t sell or reloan Broja to us

Apparently they are getting a license to ensure that staff get paid and that they can fulfill their fixtures. Season ticket holders can still go. They will not be able to sell merchandise and I assume that applies to food and beverages

I hadn’t thought of that - Fuck. Plus if they cannot trade players then Broja will be needed.

Plus our summer transfer strategy these days seems predicated on picking over the leavings of their academy. Double Fuck

Here it is in it gory details

  • Chelsea are now under under an effective transfer embargo, with new loans and permanent deals banned
  • Existing loans/transfer deals can still be paid
  • Broadcast and prize money can be received but will be frozen
  • Merchandising sales may continue but money cannot go to Chelsea
  • The club is limited to Ā£20,000 travel expenses per match
  • There is also a limit to Ā£500,000 on security, stewarding and catering costs per match
  • No new ticket sales - season ticket holders and existing ticket holders only
  • No stadium work or redevelopment

Who is come to the end of their contracts at Chelsea

What about away fans?

Their fans can’t go to away games and we can’t go to Stamford Bridge. Both involve contracts that they can’t undertake

Those will be the best pickings. Players can’t sign new contracts at Chelsea. No transfer fees. Sadly, think Broja has 4.5 years left on his contract.

But they can’t buy back Livramento!! :grinning::grinning:

Other sanctions beginning to bite. Could this be the straw that breaks Putin’s back?

Surely Chelsea players would be within their rights to get their contracts annulled in a situation like this. For someone who’s in demand like Broja and who can probably get more money elsewhere, that means he goes. (Probably not to Saints though)

So no Chelsea fans at the FA Cup semi final (assuming they beat Boro)

I can live with that tbf
